QuoteJimmyShelter Quotedcba It's the kind of file you automatically get when you have a crap ratio at Hungercity (Erik Snow sends them). Erik Snow sent a Moose's head to me when my HC ratio was crap ... I had to stop doing that, the postage was so expensive. Only about 500 HC members got a moose head in the mail. Not to mention the hassle with chopping off all them heads. Now I'm sending

Thanks, Rank Stranger, will be on the lookout for that one Surprised that nobody is commenting on the "Er Ist Wieder Da" book, as it's sold almost 500.000. copies in Europe allready. Guess the IORR klan aren't into books as they spend their time at IORR instead...

Quotetherollingmanu QuoteErik_Snow Quotetherollingmanu played it in oakland 78, it's on the handsome girls boot. No. Hound Dog was played in Memphis and Lexington 1978. Not in Oakland only could find this on utube: quite sure it's from 78, although just checked the oakland setlist and it isn't mentioned there indeed. timeisonourside also doesn't mention it played in 78. bit confused now.

Quotericcardo99 Essen 10 October 73 is in stereo, just like DAC 100 Stars in the Sky For some reason, I thought we were speaking of the Oct 11th show, don't know why OK, it could be real stereo, then. Berlin 70 and Frankfurt 1973 were fake stereo though.

QuoteLorenz I mostly read crime and sci-fi, so our tastes might not overlap too much, but I'm sure there are some books we would both enjoy. I actually especially enjoy Scandinavian (I'm so free to include Finland and Iceland if you don't mind) crime, there's been a lot of good books coming from the North lately. Did you ever read something from Haruki Murakami? A Japanese author, just came to

QuoteLorenz Hadn't heard about it before, but will definitely read it. Can you recommend any Norwegian authors aside from Nesbø? Love his books. I don't fancy Nesbø, myself, allthough I see his talent.....I don't like crime-literature; it just doesn't make me excited. But Nesbø is good at what he does, I agree The best nowrwegian authour, after Knut Hamsun, is Karl Ove Knausgård, in my opi

Anybody read the german novel "He's back" / "Er ist wieder da" by Timur Vermes? It's a big HIT in Germany, and for a good a reason. Terrific book, allthough I think the author is running out of steam on the last 100 pages. But the 200 pages before that makes it all worthwhile. Usually; the big sellers, when it comes to novels are the worst crap written, like Hislop and Samar

QuoteBilly10Anyone else have any thoughts about the last show of the ABB tour? Yes, it was a tragic affair. Who'd reckon there'd be another tour, 5 years later that was so much better? Not me.

Status Quo stinked from the beginning, so if they aged better or not is really not important. Did Prince Charles aged better than Rolling Stones?

Quotejasona93 lol at the 15 seconds you didn't like where you think MT went off the rails, then he got right back to where you'd expect. it's been said a few pages ago, but this band can't win with nitpicking like that. 12 minute song and people are all 'nearly 70 year old guy didn't play 15 seconds of it perfect and it didn't fit my ears'. just enjoy it man, it could be the last time. Right on

Quotesonyzzz Hey, what about Bodytalks, just unbelievable. What a groove, so underrated. "underrated".....that's the most empty word invented. How do you know how others rate it, and why do you think your rating is correct? Concerning Bodytalks, I think it's a bad filler; even Rockawhile has more personality than Bodytalks
