QuoteCindyC Quotestupidguy2 It's a dark song and Clayton's wail was just that, a wail...it gave the song that added urgency. Gaga, I think, was trying to capture that. Say what you want about her, but she respects the music. She may look and seem outrageous, but you take all that away - and she's a musician. In that respect, a song like GM needs that kind of urgency, almost desperate. Beca

Great album for sure, I also love it, but greatest? Ever hear of an album called Let It Bleed, or even Sticky Fingers, not to mention Exile on Main St!

I am a big fan. Their first 5 or 6 lps are really good. Very political & actually very anti-drug songs, yet they were sooo coool!!!!!

What I miss most from vinyl is having 2 sides. In effect 2 openers & 2 closers. For example Stairway To Heaven is a powerful song at the end of side 1. You have a minute or so to fully reflect in it before you turned it over or put on a new song. Now it is stuck in the middle and you don't get a chance to reflect for a minute instead the next song comes on. On the other hand take an LP lik

I like the song, but it doesn't fit with Some Girls, that may be why left off the album.

Got this last Christmas. Having a hard time getting anyone to play with me. One time it was everyone (6 people) vs me. Yes I did win but because of my constant playing of songs and offering of tidbits of info over the years, the others new much more than they realized. We all actually had fun. My wife who is more pop boardering on bubblegum, was the star for the other team, impressing people with

Don't see this as a cd release. Last view live cds did not sell well. By offering it download only, reduces packaging & distribution costs. Non-hardcore fans would probably not be that interested in this.

That's an easy question. Great songwriting, great music that crosses several genres, a powerful rythmn section augmented by some of the greatest guitar licks known to man,the best frontman in R&R history with exceptional vocals, and of course they are the soundtrack for anyone alive in the 60s. If they don't agree, that's their problem, but this is why I love them.

Tour of The Americas June 12th 1975 at the Boston Gardens. The Stones were borrowing The Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood. I was with my very pregnant wife. We had our son 3 days later!!!!

This really is a good question. I love the Stones, but the point is can they still deliver. I agree Mick is still ready. he rocked at the grammy's. Though I haven't seen Ron or Charlie, the reports have been good. I truthfully am wondering if Keith can still do it. Last year with the Exile reissue, when on Jimmy Fallon's show, Fallon asked him to play. He said no, because he hasn't picked up a gu

Hey bestfour just finished Sticky Fingers. I have trouble picking a fav also. I really do love them all. Sometimes I'm more in the Brian Jones era, sometimes Mick T & sometimes Ronnie. Sometimes just any album will do. It's all good.

Elton John 4. Pink Floyd 5. Rolling Stones 6. The Eagles 7. Marvin Gaye 10. The Who 13. David Bowie 14. Paul McCartney/Wings 16. The Isley Brothers 17. Fleetwood Mac 18. John Lennon 20. Chicago 2

I think the single ER with its disco beat & BeeGee's like falsetto vox didn't sit well with the disco sucks Stones fans. I think it has aged much better, and that disco "stigma" is not prevalent anymore. As already said some really great songs including Down in The Hole. Was always surprised that Undercover gets beat up. The title track was a MTV staple for awhile, Too Tough is clas

75 tour my fav, probably cause 1st time saw them live. Definitely Altamont tension. I actually like Gimme Shelter w/o the back-up singers better. The balloon phallus, the confetti spewing dragon, rarely played live Fingerprint File, ahhhh great memories. Would love an official CD/DVD of this tour.

Feeling very depressed today. One thing that has always helped me was listening/watching the Stones. Put in the Bluray Ladies & Gentlemen and whooo baby, helps me feel good for a while. Seeing the band in all their glory , when music still mattered and the Stones were the band that mattered most. Keith looking cool & slightly deranged....you know rock & roll. Mick T shredding solos
