Do I like Zappa!? My nickname is the title of a song in which he takes the mickey out of people who believe there are hidden (satanic) messages in rock music (which can be heard when played backwards). Zappa is my biggest hero in music. Unfortunately I only discovered him about 3 years after he died, so never got to see him live. Did see Dweez twice though on his Zappa Plays Zappa-tours. Tr

Quotevox12string 069-Mission Direct Hits is up at Dime courtesy of Ozzy64, HC torrent appears dead Funny, I'm actually still 'seeding' this on Hungercity. Right now my bittorrent-client lists it as 'queued' because there are no leechers for it.

Well, according to this: Jagger and Richards got the composer-credits. So I don't know why you call this a 'rip-off'. Love it or hate it, it's just a Stones-cover. Considering the number of songs the Stones covered in their career by this logic they are 'rip-off artists'?

Just a warning: the TSP-215-download (Leeds Lungs Revisited) on Mega-upload is not complete (misses both the mono and stereo-version of Let It Rock). A complete version can be found on Hungercity:

I think it was during one of the Bridges To Babylon shows in the Amsterdam ArenA that Mick said to Lisa: "Je bent sexy als je zweet" (You're sexy when you're sweating)

QuoteMathijs Stones in Amsterdam Arena: 50 euro's for a field ticket. Stones in Ahoy: 40 euro's if I remember well. Mathijs Well, there you're wrong. I paid 126 euros per ticket for Ahoy 2003 (and that is excluding 'service fee') for quite awful seats (first ring very far in the back). Tickets for the 'standing area' were 120 euros. I'm quite sure that tickets for stadium shows (which I sto

It was a nice concert performed by great musicians. Other songs featured (besides the ones shown above): (an almost irrecognizable) Street Fighting Man, Honky Tonk Women, Lady Jane, Under My Thumb, Satisfaction, Ruby Tuesday and a very surprising choice: Baby Break It Down. I probably forgot 1 or 2..... Bernard Fowler's vocal range is extraordinary. Something that is more difficult to noti

As I don't have an account myself unfortunately I'm not able to tell you for sure. However, I can point you to how it works on a tracker like Demonoid: Maybe invites for Hungercity work the same way?

Hungercity has become an "invitation-only" tracker It's a bit confusing that they still have the line "Don't have an account? Sign up right now!" (with a hyperlink leading to a blank page) on their frontpage. I would love to have an account for this tracker too..........

What really was a revelation for me was the fact that the track 'Moon Is Up' was actually written by Keith. There's an outtake on one of these sets where he 'introduces' the song something like this: "This is a song I wrote called 'If'" ('If' obviously being a working title for the song) Up to then I always assumed it was a 'Mick' song. One of my favorite songs on the album.......
