You have to assume it's really grown men here that seem seriously upset that lady Gaga will be on stage for 4 minutes. "No mummy, I want Taylor!, I want Taylor". Agree btw, Black Keys are great. Hope they will join in a real 'riffing' song.

People who are over-analysing this or are deeply dissapointed they did not see the Stones: get a life guys. I think Jagger with the Foo's was great. The Foo's really brought out the best in Jagger. Never heard him sing this good in years, maybe it was the key, I don't know, he sounded stronger then I ought him able to. Never liked IORR versions post '76, this one kicked ass and was fresh and n

How can you take all of this so seriously? Find a hobby man. Mick Jagger doesn't owe you or anybody anything. He doesn't even know you and never will. Let him do whatever he wants. It's up to you to enjoy that. Or not. It's that simple.

Considering their age, a concert a little shorter isn't a bad idea: 01. Love Is Strong 02. It Won't Take Long 03. Already Over Me 04. The Worst (Keith w. Nelson & Crow) 05. Mixed Emotions 06. Biggest Mistake 07. Laugh, I Nearly Died 08. Too Tight 09. Out of Control 10. New Faces 11. Brand New Car 12. Sleep Tonight (Keith) 13. Driving Too Fast 14. On

Quotekevinkamphuis Here's some mastering i've done on Gimme Shelter I've restored some of the clipping and dynamics Also some adjustments on the drum sound... How can you restore clipping? In case of audio clipping, information is completely lost (it is cut off). Just like blown out highlights in a photograph. Restoring songs that are not even on the record would be the same. But maybe

I thought it was a joke at first. But it is real SACD audiophile recordings to release all the subtleties that have been recorded with a tinker toy Casio cassette deck I presume....

QuoteToru A >Furthermore, no Stones record has ever been been recorded in multi channel. The only exception is here. Let's indulge in the DSD sound of multi channel percussion! I don't think it was recorder in multi channel. They must have done some post recording multi channel decoding. Anyway, this CD alone is not a very solid business case for a multi channel setup ;-)

Quotedubclub My experiences with the latest (and wonderful) ABCKO Remasters (from 2002 i guess), which are available in different formats are: the sacd-layer from bb and lib sounds better, just a little, than the cd-layer. I can´t hear any difference on the older records. Back in the days i´d a really good Swoboda (Sony based) SACD player. About 95% of really good recordings are sounding

SADC is 100% marketing. With all of the Stones recordings, the source material and possibly a little mixing is the limiting factor. I've heard audiophile regular CD's - for example Bowers & Wilkins Audiophile recordings series - that sound insanely good. The only limitation being the loudspeakers and the room accoustics. It just shows how much can be poured out of a regular CD. If you want

I am not saying these people are liars. Maybe they even hear a difference. But the question is, if there feally *is* a difference. Even the nicest and most trutful persons can be subjective.

On for example my PC the bootleg and this offical release don't sound very different, the bootleg might be a little rougher. When played over my - more than decent - living room hifi set, this official release sounds so much better, where sound wise the bootleg falls apart completely. I played the FLAC's (decoded by a Squeezebox), don't know if it might differ from the MP3 version.
