Yes, you're right. It's me, crazymama. I'm not sure if there will be any recordings since the rules have been very strict - like last year. When you entered the venue there were clear signs that taking pics or recording was strictly forbidden. In comparison to the Tribute for Stu in London on 9th of March, where everybody took pics and did recordings. Also the third day was musically int

QuoteHappy24 So I got 1st row almost centre for the first night and 3rd row for the second night. I think I have something to be looking forward to. Better than Christmas... I'll write some report then. Just how is it with cameras? I remember reading that the last year it was a big problem in this theatre, that someone had to leave the theatre because of taking pictures. Well, I usually don't

Would be great if the Hailstones could play at a nice club in the city instead of that location in the outskirts of town. How many people will there be?? I live in Vienna, but without IORR I wouldn't have been aware of this gig. So I wonder who will know about it?

When I first heard about Keith publishing that Bio I thought that's not like him. I wish Keith had never done "Life". We read all those stories and laments about Mick in several books and magazines for many years now. There's not so much new. Maybe I'll read it some time, but not now. It's too disgusting getting those childish news everyday. Though I've always been a Keith-fre

Quotemarko I have nothing against stadium shows, but on ABB tour, there was no soul in music anymore,it was gone.I really liked voodoo and Btb tours, and licks as well.If they wanna do a stadium tour. They should get the soul back,i don´t wanna hear another ABB,,,musicly their worst tour. Unfortunately that's the truth! But for all that...if they tour, I will pay and go.

After those two amazing shows in Graz and Vienna I was thinking about going to Hamburg next Thursday. But otherwise it's not the Stones. Maybe I should save that money for a Stones-tour next year. Many shows were sold out, as the one in Vienna. In Hamburg there are still tickets left.

I saw him in Graz yesterday - he was so fantastic! A real Rock'n Roller! Today I see him in Vienna. Last year I went to Italy for two Fogerty-Gigs. YOU HAVE TO SEE HIM!!!!

Quote1cdog Just my opinion but it's much easier for Keith to appreciate MT in retrospective. I agree. In any case it's a bit surprising, what Keith says. I've always read how difficult the relationship between Keith and Mick Taylor was. Mick Taylor didn't feel well in the Stonescamp, it seemed that Keith didn't really accept him as a member. Now everything is different. I suppose after all t

QuoteHavo well, thats my fav. over the last 45 years. Thanx for great music! The Stones and The Kinks have always been my favorite bands for 28 years now. Thanx England! Unfortunately I've seen the Kinks only one time live.

I was there the first and the second night. And I will be there tomorrow two. The venue is only a short walk from my home. 10-15 minutes. The first night we had seats in the second row. A friend of us took some very nice pics. But it was strictly forbidden. One person had to leave the theatre. Charlie was sweat and loughed a lot. He always has much fun with Dave Green and Ben Waters. No

I bought the magazine last week and really enjoyed reading those interviews. As always it's great fun to read what Mick and Keith say from each other. And how they did some lyrics, that nothing meant, like the Bourrougs-style-song.

My 17 years old son has been playing electric guitar for 1 1/2 years now and he's playing damn' good and good rockmusic. His favorite band are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he loves the Stones too. And not only the warhorses, also new stuff. I love to hear when he's playing Stones-stuff on his PC, like The Worst (also when he's together with his girlfriend). But he's also playing Wild Horses

Yeah, they sound great, and I'll go to see them in November. But, to be honest, I can't see, why Keith thinks, they are the best Guitar-Rockband in the world.

Some songs were moving me to tears, especially in live-versions, like Wild horses in Dübendorf 2006, Memory Motel in Leipzig 1998 or the Intro of Sweet Virginia in Nijmegen 2007.

Tinariwen are playing in Vienna. I must admit I've never heard of that band. I read that Keith said, they are the best Guitar-Rockband in the WORLD. (It was in an austrian paper) Can anybody remember when he said this? And did anybody hear or see them? Are they really that good?

I was not sure, if I want to go to the concert, because my husband says, we have been to ZZ Top about 10 years ago, and I cannot remember that I have been there... But after reading all your posts, I decided I will give it another try in Vienna next week. My 16-year-old son wants to see them, too.
