On recent tours Mick has worn all black Nike Air Monarchs. Actually very comfortable cross training sneakers. I had read years back, I think in Rolling Stone Mag, that he often had the stage pair modified by having the bottoms sanded down to be smother so the shoes would glide a little instead of snagging.
