I saw the conversation where you mentioned having to reset a couple of times and I thought I remembered a vt22 username but had obviously forgotten what the 3rd name was. Back on the actual topic of

QuoteBluzDude QuoteGravityBoy I'm looking at Ronnie's hair. That's all. I'll have to check that out when I get home....my work computer filters out about 80% of all photos. Let's just say that, from what I can see in the photo, the hair spray he uses before going on stage must be loaded with black dye. Peace, Mr DJA

QuoteDoomandGloom QuoteBustedButton I just watched Anaheim, and I thought Anaheim was the worst on this 2013 leg of the tour thus far... STILL GOOD THOUGH, but the worst of the 2013 shows. I tried to find an appropriate place to ask this question, and thought it was the correct thread. (keep in mind I know it has been discussed here before) but why is Mick Taylor STILL asking them to turn up th

How cool to find a post on my favorite Stones Board that's referencing some friends of mine! Ricky & Micol are great people & put on a hell of a show without needing "a show" to do it. Warning: if they are playing a location without a curfew, be preparred to loose some sleep! I've seen them at a couple of clubs here in town where they've literally played until they couldn't st

Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful time tonight! I'm hoping to score a Celtic Green Shirt from the Boston shows and then hoping against hope for a fall show that I can actually attend possibly in Atlanta, Nashville or Memphis... It's up to y'all to get this tour started off correctly so they'll want to continue with a few more US shows and then on to Europe. Cheer loudly as you'll be che

Quoteloog droog It was 39 years ago, so I guess fashions are bound to change. What I find interesting is how animated Mick Taylor is in the clip. Compared to Ladies and Gentlemen, he really came of his shell with the background vocals and movement. Makes me wonder what he would have been like had he stayed on and played on the '75 tour. we probably would have had a live "Time W

My favorite are the sax players who make their saxes sound like sex toys. Kudos also to the few remaining producers & engineers who are able to record them properly. Also worthy of note are precussionists in orchestras using anything they can get their hands on as effects... Coconuts for horse footsteps (also seen in "Search for the Holy Grail", wooden sticks for whips cracking.

I wonder who edited it. I watched a couple of others and they seemed to be done in one take with no editing... I wonder if on either Keith's side or Willie's side there was a decision to remove something in the middle. Based on some of the others I saw, I'd guess it was Keith's side that removed something, if anything. Peace, Mr DJA

QuoteWry Cooter Have enjoyed several of those mentioned -- I will single out "End of the Century" (Ramones) and Wim Wenders' contribution to the Scorsese blues series "The Soul of a Man" as two that transcend the already interesting subject matter as dare I say it works of art in their own right. The Ramones doc is fascinating even if you don't care for the Ramones -- which I

All I can do is pass on some information from my kids... Apparently there is an "app" for cell phones (possibly a website for PC use) where you can just play a sample of a song and the app will then tell you what song is being played. Note: I have not used said app and can't actually vouch for it's abilities. Just might be worth a google search or app store search to see if there's s

whitem8 mentioned my favorite: Martin Scorsese presents The Blues - A Musical Journey was great. Some of the episodes better than others but all are well worth watching and some are worth watching over and over again. uhbuhgullayew mentioned my second favorite: Standing in the Shadows of Motown. Only misses my number one spot by a hair. Actually better on some levels. One that hasn't bee

Munichhilton's right. However: It's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission. While you're at it, you may also want to look for a luxury dog house or sleeper sofa that can be purchased using paypal. Also: I'd advise following mickschix advice to hopefully minimize the damage. Good luck! Peace, Mr DJA

They actually played that performance on the news segment of a local radio station here in Knoxville, TN
