It's definitely more rawer sounding than Hampton archive but the more I listen, the more I'm liking the guitar heavy influence. After all, it's Only Rock 'N Roll (But I Like It) SFTD

The bonus CD recordings from the 1965 tour are unreleased versions and clearly NOT the same recordings that are available on the existing 1965 EP and circulating on bootleg. These are different, to an extent, and surprisingly in minimal " stereo ", well to be fair, stereophonic. I'll call them stereophonic since the audience noise is definitely stereophonic. Hard to distinguish much

Well ,I have a couple of 1997 ~ 1998's so I thought that it would be nice to plug the hole with something from 1999. No, I didn't attend any of the EURO concerts (wrong side of the pond). Toronto 1999 is a very good one but I'm not a fan of audience recordings. SFTD

Hi stonestod: Yes, you're absolutely right about that particular boot. I have the C2C version of it and it is the best that 1999 has to offer; however,it's not a stereo soundboard which would improve the sound quality. SFTD

Hello: theimposter No, you're not alone. If I had to pick the sixth archive, it would definitively be from 1999. It's the only tour, aside from 1970 (which are generally poor quality) and pre - 1969 (which are also generally poor quality), that I don't have a stereo soundboard recording. All of the existing 1999 boots are either poor mono or audience. So please,a 1999 stereo soundboard from

Both the 50 and 80 track versions exclude released singles. No " TELL ME " on either version and on the 50 track version, several released singles are excluded including MOTHER'S LITTLE HELPER and PLAY WITH FIRE ". Very disappointing indeed. The only GRRR ! version that makes sense is the 80 track version BUT not at a wallet-busting amount close to $ 200.00 U.S. A much better

I wasn't able to open the zip file that mescalero sent. I believe there is something wrong with the zip file since I have no trouble opening other zip files.

One could easily make the argument that if you have ROLLED GOLD PLUS and JUMP BACK on CD, you pretty much have all of their greatest hits covered. Anything after that charted very poorly on the BILLBOARD HOT 100 charts.

Hello Mescalero: On a different thread, you uploaded VGP135 (Frankfurt 1976). I was unable to open your zip file on either of my two computers after downloading the file. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with the zip file since I've had no problems with other zip files. Could you try the zip file and see if you can open it ??? SFTD

Comparing the deluxe 4 disc tracklist versus the 3 disc tracklist, you will notice that " HAPPY " is included on 3 disc set but not on 4 disc set. " HAPPY " charted on Billboard, peaking at # 22 in 1972. That's a legitimate hit single. Something's not right here !!!!!!!! Incidently, according to Rolling Stones.com website, the super deluxe edition is supposed to inclu

HELLO STONESMUZIEKFAN There is a second " TOUR DE FORCE (VGP137) listed and that is the one that is shown as being LOSSY. I thought that was the correct one but now realize, as you point out, that the correct one is supplied under VGP002. My mistake. Sorry for the confusion. SFTD

Hi Erik: I was referring to the tonal quality of JJF not matching the other tracks. It's as if JJF was recorded at a different venue. As for Let It Bleed, Mick repeats the words of the song in the beginning but I didn't find the tonal quality to be any different. SFTD
