The $85.00 tickets I drew for Oakland were side view and slightly behind the stage but I was able to get an upgrade by asking guest services. Went from section 220 to 110, lower level. Farking awesome upgrade!

Wow, apples and oranges really. Each is good in their own right and each is instantly recognizeable from just hearing a few notes. What it comes down to for me is a matter of personal preference. Mick Taylor phrases so beautifully and has great intonation. Ronnie has great feel and grit but in the end I prefer Mick's style over Ronnies, with all due respect to Mr. Wood...

There were a few glitches during the show, and the guitars, sounded pretty good - up front in the mix and no Blondie to cover them. Ronnie was especially good, especially to my ears. Keith was much improved from the last time I saw them in 2005 - more playing and less posing. Although I think arthritis is an impediment. All in all they sounded great..

It was truly random. A women who was in front of us got the Pit. We got section 220, which was to the side and sightly behind the stage. After 3 songs I went and had a word with guest services and they upgraded us to section 110, row 6 which was an order of magnitude better. Great view of the stage and sound. If any of you find yourselves with obstructed views, then it can't hurt to say something
