1872 Champagne And Reefer (with John Mayer) Love those old War Horses, right up there with "Battle Hymn of The Republic" (1856), "Old Folks at Home" (1851) & who can forget that classic "Home on the Range" (1873)

I know of only one freeware programme that will edit mp3s WITHOUT re-encoding, & that one's quite basic (mp3DirectCut). All others will re-encode in the editing process. Say I start out with an mp3 encoded at 192 bits, I then edit it & then save as high as 320bits, I'm not upgrading, I'm making an mp3 of an mp3, hence I'm losing quality. Re-encode an mp3 4-5 times & it sounds awfu

I really want to see Adele do Gimme Shelter in Hyde Park. I don't know if Merry still has the voice, anyone seen her lately?

It's banned because EVERYONE does it & chalkboard M.Cs, Judges, etc. are sick to death of it. Kinda like some music stores banning Stairway to Heaven, Needle & The Damage Done, Smoke on the Water, etc. from being played by guitar wannabes.

Quotebigfrankie This is just great. I heard it a bunch of times on country radio, but didn't know who it was until today. We'll it's Darius Rucker. Origianlly written by Bob Dylan. Not quite, there is a snippet of Dylan singing an incomplete chorus on a bootleg, he didn't finish the song. It was completed by Old Crow Medicine Show, who had a major hit with it, it is credited jontly Bob Dylan/Ol

QuoteMunichhilton Sure. Somebody does. Aw, that's mean, no way to treat a neophyte to this forum. For penance go to your bedroom without supper & watch this Mrs Miller classic for an hour For the next hour you can sing along with it Now, for a direct answer. Yes, I have it. What I suspect you really mean is - Is the 1990 July 6 concert in Berlin available as a bootleg, &a

Saw John Kay by himself about 30 years ago at the Pier Hotel, Frankston, Down Under. Dressed in black leather, black fender-style guitar, very impressive. Played all the old Steppenwolf faves

The current debate re. Grace interests me not a whit, what would interest me would be photos of Grace, off her face, at a gig, early days....topless. Anyone else heard about this, I must have read this years ago & only seen one reference to it....Apparently she was having such a good time she just whipped off her top during the show.

MP3s cut out about 16kHz, so you miss out on all sound, including harmonics, above that. These add to the "Greater transparency, more detail," Unfortunately some 63 year olds, such as myself, can't hear any difference between a full blown wav & 320 bit mp3, must have been all that loud Stones music I listened to in the 70s - on a valve amplifier no less, & at that time I coul

!@#$%^ I used to play in Walpole Park during our lunch breaks, 1961-3. Went to Ealing Grammar, there were a bunch of schools in the area & they let us play in Walpole & Lammas parks so we could socialise. Ealing film studio was still going at that time & sometimes we'd see them packing up for the lunch break, couldn't do much filming with a couple of hundred curious school kids floati

First started listening seriously to Irish folk music in the mid 70's, sharing a house with a guy who introduced me to the first Planxty album. That, & then the Bothy Band, took Irish folk music to the next level. This is me with my new mandolin just over a year ago, check out my channel to see more of what I get up to...

A lot of Country songs have modulation. Ones that come to mind include "Get Your Tongue Outta My Mouth Cause I'm Kissing You Good-bye", "I'm So Miserable Without You It's Like Having You Here" & my favourite, "Your Wife's Been Cheating On Both Of Us"

If I remember right the multitracks didn't get leaked but rather someone cracked the Guitar Hero software & extracted the tracks that way.

Quotegotdablouse Bit of a bump, haha ;-) Many of the moggs are still available on torrents but I must say I've never seen one of "Paint it Black" if anyone can up it? I remembered reading these multitracks were recreated for the games with advanced filtering techniques, i.e. no access to the actual multitracks but listening to the bass in the SFTD mogg it does seem like a discrete
