I will add my thanks for the rehearsal updates. I shall be in LA in the second half of May........just as the Stones head East!.......which is a pity. Anyway, its great to see and hear the rehearsals under a blue California sky. Everything seems just about ready for some great shows. Well, alright!

For me, one of the highlights of those recent shows was the choir intro to YCAGWYW - I wonder if there are choirs rehearsing right now in each city the Stones are playing in order to keep that on the setlist?!

I had a pass for a similar bar area for Neil Young in Hyde Park a few years ago. If this one is on a similar basis, then the main advantages are the separate entrance (Hyde Park Corner end) thus avoiding the lengthy security queues and the more spacious and comfortable bar/food outlets. That's it! Having said that, this may be different from the old Hyde Park Calling set up and perhaps better -

It will be a great moment to see Mick T walk out on to the Hyde Park Stage 44 years and 1 day after his Stones career began. I am glad he is involved and continues to be a part of the '50 Years and Counting' tour.

It is amazing that these prices are being demanded by the ticket tout 'agencies' for a concert in Hyde Park which you can turn up to and hear for absolutely nothing! Admittedly you won't see anything but several times I have joined in the festival atmosphere in Hyde Park outside the concert enclosure and enjoyed the space to spread out and have a picnic. It will be interesting to watch and see if

The show lasted for about 1hour 15mins, the Neil Young track he covered was 'Old Man' which he did surprisingly well I thought. It was an entirely acoustic set and his stage persona was one of 'Boris Johnson'* style bumbling as he introduced each song ("this next one's about.......well, you'll figure it out" ).
