Quotecampxray It's interesting to read everyones thoughts about the Stones' performance because I am interested in every detail ... as long as someone doesn't say they're done with the Stones' because they're not good anymore. I first saw them in 1965 and am a die-hard fan. If I go to a Stones' concert, all I really care about is being in their presence. I

Just received my CD with t-shirt today in NJ USA. T-Shirt has no lettering...just the blue tongue logo. I would have been ok either way.

QuoteLong John Stoner I can relate to those who say this one really makes them sad. I really can't explain it, either. I always liked Henley more than Frey, thought Don was more talented and a better singer, but when I saw the History of the Eagles tour and realized how many of the good guitar parts were played by Frey, I had to re-assess Frey's contributions. For some reason, maybe

QuoteTheLoneRangerRidesAgain QuoteMarhsall Just curious, of all the questions to ask, why is this one so important to you? I am into dates and numbers. I just wanted a specific time to note the official close to the 50th anniversary year. Aren't you about a year late?

Comparing a festival crowd to an arena crowd isn't an accurate comparison. That said, I attended Newark 1 and Philly 1 and encountered outstandingly enthusiastic crowds both nights.

QuoteStoneage "Dancing in The Streets" should be an option. It has Philadelphia in the lyrics... So does "Sweet Little Sixteen".

April Fool's joke, as mentioned. The Nintendocore thing is a reference to Bruce's keynote address at SXSW.

QuoteShawn20 Gazza's feelings towards Bon Jovi aren't as strong as mine for Mr. Buffett. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Love him or hate - he's made a mint on a couple of hit singles from over 30 years ago - incredible. I'm a Buffett fan, though I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a Parrothead. A few things in his defense: His catalogue is quite large

I was fortunate enough to have been at the Phillies-Reds game last night for Halladay's historic no-hitter. It was an incredible experience. I'm a lifelong Phillies fan. I think Philly fans get a bad rap. I've been to hundreds of sporting events, concerts etc. in my life and honestly can't ever recall any negative experiences. Media tends to blow it out of proportion, I think.

Quotesaturn57 QuoteCindyC The first notes of Gimme Shelter & Monkey Man. The first notes of Gimme Shelter does it for me too. I've listen to this song hundreds/thousands of time, and it always stops me in my tracks. This gets my vote as well. I've always felt that the intro to Gimme Shelter sounds like no music before or since, if that makes sense. I play guitar and I know what&

Quoteryanpow I always forget they did "I think we're alone now". That was a good one. But not the horrible cover by Tiffany. My favorite Tommy James trivia tidbit. This most likely will never be duplicated. In the fall of 1987, back to back #1 US hits were "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol, followed by "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany. Neither of them knew t
