Regarding Keith's treatment towards Brian, keep in mind that Keith and Anita had.just fallen in love and Brian was the guy that used to beat the shit out of the woman who was then carrying Keith's child. Would you be nice to your old lady's.ex if he uaed.to treat her.the way Brian treated.Anita? I wouldn't. Forum: Tell Me
See them in another country (I live in the U.S.)
See them in a club
Shake all their hands and say thanks.
And of course, smoke cigarettes, drink whiskey, and play country songs with Keith! Forum: Tell Me

They've played Hawaii. Wasn't Mick Taylor's last show in Hawaii? I also think they played their sometime early on with Brian but I could be wrong about that or my entire post completely Forum: Tell Me
A couple obvious ones come to mind. Sympathy, JJF, Waiting on a Friend, Jigsaw Puzzle, Salt of the Earth, Prodigal Son, Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler, Sway, You Gotta Move, Sister Morphine, and probably many others. Forum: Tell Me
While I'm somewhat eager to hear the new Some Girls reissue, I do have one major problem with this and the new Exile. I don't understand why Mick feels the need to go back in and record new vocals on these tracks. If they're going to market it as "Exile Bonus Tracks" or "Some Girls Bonus Tracks" then I feel they should be left untouched. That is not to say that I don't like so Forum: Tell Me
With this release coming fairly soon, I was hoping to see a track list of the bonus tracks but haven't been able to do so. Anyone with any info? Forum: Tell Me
I don't post here often but have been a member for years. I was just wondering what you guys would say is the band's most forgotten or overlooked album. I'm not talking about the most underrated or the worst album. I know Dirty Work gets a lot of heat here which is why I wouldn't say it's forgotten. In my opinion Emotional Rescue seems to get forgotten a lot. At least I forget about it a lot. As Forum: Tell Me
Last I had read is that a year or two ago they actually did refigure the numbers and estimate that it much closer to 2 million than the initial 1 million. Forum: Tell Me
I'm in college and I've spent my entire life listening to the Stones. I used to listen to them ALL the time, EVERYWHERE. These days I generally reserve the Stones for times when I'm drinking or drunk. Mainly because listening to the Stones gets me pumped up and ready to party so I generally try not to listen to the Stones if I can't get drunk apart from maybe a ballad here or there. I was under the impression that the Brown Sugar with Clapton was from a birthday party thrown for Keith in 1971. I could be mistaken though. Forum: Tell Me
There was an episode in the last season of the TV show The Wonder Years that was titled "Ladies and Gentlemen...The Rolling Stones". The entire episode revolves around a rumor that the Stones are playing at some dive bar and the kids spend the entire night driving from place to place trying to find them. Since The Wonder Years takes place in the 60's there's a few other Stones reference Forum: Tell Me
This past Thursday night, me and a friend were hanging out decided to go to Memphis on a whim. We made the 5 hour drive and by 4 am we were in Memphis. We got a room and a few hours sleep before taking a tour of Sun Studios (FANTASTIC) and then off to Beale St. It was both of our first times in Memphis and needless to say I fell in love with the city and will be back there very soon. While I am a HUGE Black Crowes fan, I don't hear any connection to "Shine a Light" in this song at all other than they both have a prominent piano part. Cool video though. Thanks for posting. Forum: Tell Me
When I listen to Let It Loose, I sometimes wonder if Keith wrote that about Mick and Bianca. "Who's that woman on your arm, all dressed up to do you harm" etc. What do you guys think? Forum: Tell Me
It's not too shabby. I still think I prefer the original electric version but I've only listened to it a time or two. The breakdown in the middle of this one reminds me a little of "Salt of the Earth" from our boys the Stones. Forum: Tell Me
Out of curiosity, do you think this was something decided upon by the Stones or the label/management? I could see Mick making the decision but could also see the label/management doing this as well. Forum: Tell Me
I really don't care for John Mayer's pop songs but the man can really wail on the blues when he wants.
There's a lot more of these on YouTube. He's got talent as a guitarist and you really can't argue with that and much like the Stones ALWAYS gives credit where credit is due and pays homage to the old blues guys in interviews. Forum: Tell Me
"Black girls just wanna get @#$%& all night."
"Your tricks with fruit, is kinda cute. I bet you keep your pussy clean"
"I can see that your 15 years old. I don't want your ID"

These are just a few off the top of my head. Forum: Tell Me
Is very underrated in my opinion. His acoustic playing is always top notch. I personally would love to see more acoustic songs or maybe even an acoustic tour. Regardless how you feel about his electric playing (I have no interest in that conversation) he's still my favorite acoustic guitar player. Forum: Tell Me
