ironbelly, Carster, and martinw Thank you for the clarifications! My copy of Rain Fall Down CDS (2005) also seems to have a clean mixes of all 3. Carster - any ideas? Perhaps I got a mislabeled copy.

Hurristone: yes, there are rare stereo versions of WH and JJF promo edits confirmed on the website. Rank: UMT was mentioned twice: once under "Live" and the other under "Edits & Alternates" CD3 (where it can still be found). It logically fits both places.

List updated with some corrections, thanks to Richard from "Down Unda." Also thanks to Hurristone for the heads up on the 5.1 mixes. Also, thanks to Bernhard of Hamburg, I'm tracking down some more rarities from some old European vinyl. Looks like there is more to come!

QuoteHurristone QuoteZagalo Thanks for the tip - there's a few sellers out there and in the UK...now one less available! Cheers Be aware! The 5.1 mix is only on the 7-track hybrid SACD. And NOT on the 6-track CD (made in the EU). Also, you must have an SACD player to hear it, even though the hybrid CD is in listenable in stereo.

Quotealexander paul Thanks for the great work. Still two questions on the difference between the old and new Rarities done right: 1. On the original Vol. 5 Edits and alternates 1963-1983 there was as track 8 Ruby Tuesday, LP Stereo Mix, 3:18, 1967 7' single. Is this the same as on the new Disc 3, Vol. 3 Edits and alternates 1963-1969, track 17? Yes. Now this mix is available on Grrr!

beware: the mp3 track circulating as 04:02 You Can't Always Get What You Want (Soulwax Radio Edit) is not. It is just the regular version faded at 4:02. check it to make sure you have the real one. Notice I dropped the CD-r releases (ie no catalog number) off the list, and only mention them in notes. Availability of these is scarce, and I can't say how many CD-r releases there were with any

Quotethkbeercan "I've Been Loving You Too Long" was first released without audience overdubs on the 4 LP German Decca box The Rest Of The Best and that was in mono. Good point! I forgot all about that one, and as mentioned by silkcut, it was first on Collector's Only. I know the DAC version of The Rest of the Best is in stereo, but the vinyl rip of The Rest of the Best I have is

nick, fyi, there are several other known stereo recordings, both out of print and bootleg, that were not released on the 2002 remasters. I'm sure there are probably other unknown recordings as well that exist in the archives, too.

Timjosephuk, Also as a beginner, please note, don't make the mistake of just requesting stuff or you will get the stigma of being a leech. Instead, post your fair share of meaningful information or music. Best of luck to you!

Timjosephuk, Even though people do it here, posting officially released tracks is prohibited by the website policy. Happy was released in mono on single and promo single. I've never seen a bootleg with it, except for fan made bootlegs. It was also released in stereo on single. And, Sweet Black Angel only in stereo.

Quotehulloder sorry .. at this point what are needed to get all the live sbd about Philly's concerts? IMHO Rattlesnakes' 1972 Touring Party is the best balance between quality and completeness. For purists, I would stick with VGP-243 and 259. For traditionalists, get the TSP cds or SODD's rip of PIFO.

Quoteblakeeik PIFO has these tracks on KYMR, not PS1/2: LIV(3), U/S(1) PIFO is MISSING ADTL(?) that is on KYMR. Thanks to midnrambler, now I know LIV(3) and MR(3) came from the vinyl PIFO, and U/S(1) is from the film C*cksucker Blues most assuredly. Looking closer, PIFO is also missing GS(1) and TD(1) on KYMR. Is it a stretch to think ADTL could come from (1) or is it (3) with overdub

Quotemidnrambler Quoteblakeeik Thanks! Do you mean the LIV version is the same as the PIFO version? Philly 21st 2nd show? I can't remember which LIV exactly it is. Fact is that all tracks on VGP's PIFO (except for these 2 and the L&G stuff) are taken from the 2 TSP CDs "Philadelphia Special I + II" with some equalizing. I know this very well because it was myself who did it bac
