QuoteSKILLS ...I do wish they'd physically release a CD for Brussels, the $750 for the Box is just too much just to get it. Ya think? I'd say that same package at $80 would still be too much...

QuotePer-Arne Quotetreaclefingers QuotePer-Arne Got the CD's in the post today. And my friend got a mail today, with the message that his CD's on their way. Thanks Gilles. Per-Arne may want to consider retitling your thread. Why? I have bought Stones-bootlegs since the early seventies (That's more than 40 years now!) so I think I have a bit experience about that. But I think 1/3 year i

QuoteHarm They are not motivated anymore to sit down and try really hard to make a good record.... Correct! I've been saying it for years now - they only care about a new album if they think they'll make a lot of dough on it. It shouldn't just be about the fans (or what Mick thinks the fans want), it should be about their own love of music and creativity. The Stones lost that love long ago and

QuoteNoCode0680 QuoteLeonidP This is getting tiring ... you're the one that brought up that she won't be sent back due to USA policy of no double jeopardy. I was saying that Italy doesn't care about USA's policy as it is a crime in their country. Now from above, I guess you're agreeing with me??? I can't tell, you seem to be jumping around. So in summary, it's Italy's call on whether she gets

Quotestonehearted ...Furthermore, the song has no dynamics--it just crashes in and remains overly loud and overly compressed, when it should be reflective, and the melody, such that it is, is flat and repetitive, no catchy hooks, no lines of verse that stay in your head.... Sorry I just can't show respect for this, because he just goes too far. It occurs to me that Don't Stop was an outtak

I used to love TR and/or Utopia. He had usually at least 3 or 4 very good songs on each album back in the day. And I always loved that concept 'Healing' album, but I don't think that was a big hit w/ his fans. But ... I can't remember what it was called - he did some experimental album sometime in the mid to late 90s which I hated and I haven't really ever listened to anything new of his sinc

QuoteSilver Dagger ... The latest album Three Chords Good is one of his best and as good as anything of those first four magnificent records... I was very excited that GP recorded another album w/ the Rumour - Three Chords Good - but as big a GP fan that I am, unfortunately I just don't like this album very much ... As per my favorite GP albums list above, Don't Tell Columbus is his great class

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I had a few of his albums; the obligatory "Sparks" album. But he was always my least favorite of the 3 Angry Young Men, who seemed to come along at the same time: Costello, Joe Jackson and Parker. Yes, he got the least publicity over the other 2 and was significantly less popular ... but in my opinion he was always far superior than those 2. I never got in

QuoteSir Oliver QuoteLeonidP out of curiousity, why would you waste even 0.50 on it? can't you just rip your own cd to 128kbs for free? That´s true if you own the DELUXE CD edition and that´s why I wrote "if you need it for whatever reason". :-) .. Good point! I guess I assume everyone on this board has it but obviously that is not necessarily true ...

QuoteDandelionPowderman ... I find Keith's licks brilliant. The way the guitar licks and the bass is tied together is fantastic, and was very inspirational for me as a guitarist back in the day. Mick was all camp anyway round that time, and poking a little fun in this one, did the song nothing but good, imo. Finally, the recording of this track is excellent. The only weak link may be Cha

Here's a single off their only album, called Shades Of Orange... sorry to disagree, but i disagree ... those songs like Shades of Orange just aren't that good. In Another Land is good, I like it as a novelty track, but as someon
