QuoteFirstTimeSeattle81 There's Ian Stewart in the 2nd version! Also noticed (duh) no Billie or Ollie. I dunno why I always thought this was shot during the same German arena shooting session along with 'Crazy Mama,' 'Hot Stuff,' and 'Hey Negrita.' Just assumed it was shot last, after dark. Anyone no where this session was done? Anymore from it I wonder... I think it is from the same session. T

Can anybody help? I believe "Satisfaction" was played a couple of times on the 1978 tour. Can anybody tell me the best sounding recording / best performance of this number from this tour? Cheers.

Saw him in Basingstoke a few days ago and he was (as always) truly incredible. One of the many highlights was his cover of"Hey Joe". I recorded the show and it's over at dimeadozen to download.

Interesting stuff, I'd never picked up on the connection. Another Ya-Ya's thing, Charlie watts is wearing his t-shirt with a pair of breasts on them. The same one that he wore on Top of the Pops for Honky Tonk Woman and Gimme Shelter.

QuoteMunichhilton Silkcut upped a vinyl recording that was the best version available. It was missing some tracks, so you complete it with Plug In Flush Out and you have the best version out there...I'll have to look up the lp silkcut upped in the first place for a name... Ahh, I grabbed that one from Hunger City. Thanks for the info.

I'm interested to know which is the best source for the Philadelphia 1972 soundboard recordings. I'm looking for the best sounding (lowest gen, preferably raw, untampered) and also the most complete. Any information, opinions etc. appreciated.

Great news. At the very least, this could be used to fill the missing parts of the other recordings.

Having watched my Dad set up and repair hundreds of guitars I can easily say that old doesn't necessarily mean good, and neither does new. Each guitar is an individual thing and you can get two from the same batch that could not be more different. I've helped him work on guitars as old as 1930s Gibsons up to present day guitars of many different makes, models and price points. Guitars can b
