I noticed that the 6th June date in Toronto is not on his list, does this mean he will not be playing this gig. I have a ticket to see them at Hyde park but have been thinking of flying to Canada to see them on June 6tgh. I saw Mick Taylor in the 70's so would just love to see him again. Anyone got any idea's??

QuoteStoneage I'm not complaining about the setlist. It has more variation than we are used to. However, the second part of the setlist is boring to me. If you only get a chance to see them every 5 years how can it be boring?

Just been on youtube to try to find some clips from last nights warm up gig and found Gimmie Shelter from one of the concerts in 2012, brilliant i would say with Florence dueting with Mick, there are so many clips from the years to choose from and i was clicking from one to another then i found the origional from Top of the Pops in 1969. I just could not turn it off, so riviting, i had fo

Quote24FPS Just watched the 'The Beach Boys 50 - Live In Concert' DVD. How can they get it so right, and the Stones so wrong? The Beach Boys are notoriously dysfunctional, and yet they managed to pull it together for their 50th tour. Every living Beach Boy was up on stage, including Bruce Johnston, and David Marks, who I was shocked to see handle most of the lead guitar parts Carl used to play.

This is a great performance by Mick Taylor and Trevor Lawrence on Sax as Bobby Keys had just been sacked. Perhaps their best performance of this song!

Sorry, I think it has been discussed before but i can't remember. What was the music that was used during the 2002-2003 tour when they went from the main stage to b stage. I was sitting in a bar yesterday thinking 'this is good' and it was that track, I was trying to tell somone but to no avail. Think I would like to hear more of this woman singer. Thanks.

Maybe they will reform or maybe not whatever they do is up to Plant but he has said in the past that he wants to do new stuff and not try to recreate the old with Zep. Well i noticed in the interview he had a new band The Space Shifters, i did a search and found they were playing some Zepplin numbers, Why? they sound terrible, thought he didn't want to play that anymore. If he wants to play th

Quoteaprilfool Quotepgarof They are going to tour i am sure of that but only a short one with small number of dates, with this in mind the prices will stay high as they will not have to sell as many tickets as in the past. This is a new way of doing it, same maney less gigs, simple maths. Why tour 100 dates @ £75 per ticket when they could do 25 dates @ £300, thinkl thats the way it will go

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoterob51 I mean heh? Is there actually still a large magority of people that still listens to this band regularly? You have to admit their haydays are long over and they haven't really put out anything for years thats worth listening to. Do you still play your old Stones stuff all the time or are you just more in love with what they used to be and what they used to me

Mick Jagger became interested in the Red Devils following a recommendation by Rick Rubin, who was producing Jagger's third solo album. After scouting the band at King King, Jagger joined them on stage in May 1992 and performed Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love" and Little Walter's version of "Blues with a Feeling".[2] A month later, the Red Devils were invited to record some blues

Stevie Wonder is playing his 1st gig in China and the place is packed to the rafters. In a bid to break the ice he asks if anyone has a request. One young chap jumps out of his seat in the 1st row and shouts at the top of his voice "Play a jazz chord! Play a jazz chord!" Amazed that this guy knows about the jazz influences in Stevie's career, the blind impresario starts to pl

I can never understand why people say that it was too long and they should have left some of the songs off, well imagine that they, did then everyone would be asking what the ones they left off sounded like and hey prestow 5 years later they re-release it and put the extra songs in as a bonus then everyone would think it was great. Just can't win really can they. Personally i would love them t

The Beatles were the best and everyone since has followed and copied but just imagine how much better they could have been if George had been allowed to do more. Lennon and McCartney are proberbly the greatest songwriters of all time but with George, wow, how good could they have been.
