Quotestonehearted I thought GRRR! put them on top. No? One thing's for sure, The Stones are the best selling Greatest Hits Compilation rock band ever. By a considerable margin, no band has released more compilatons and resold more of the same songs more times than The Stones. At least they're number one at something. It depends on how you look at it. The Beatles and Zeppelin haven't been

You might be right BowieStone- maybe just a technicality but common sense tells us that if the Steel Wheels tour were in 2009 instead of 1989 it would easily make the top ten, probably top five. I think they might have actually sold more tickets during the SW and VL tours than the ABB tour but I'm just guessing.

Quotebuttons67 The beatles are the biggest selling in terms of records, Elvis and Jackson joint 3rd. and U2 will probably become the biggest selling in terms of touring. i still find it crazy the stones are not closer to the top, what has Celine Dion got or Madonna got that the stones havent. the stones have over 400 songs to boast including cover versions, yet they are outsold by Zep

A lot of factors go into record sales. There are a lot of artists ahead of The Stones as far as U.S. sales that might be far behind in worldwide sales- somebody like Garth Brooks for instance. You also have to keep in mind that record sales in general increased over time at least until the digital age so an artist that started in the eightees might have an advantage over one that started in the s

Quotedcba Do these joints use real cheese or some lactose-filled solid crap that's about 10 times cheaper? Easy to tell : once baked the crap is yellow/gold on your pizza. Yuck! That fake cheese is usually limited to frozen pizza and pizza rolls at the supermarket. A New York pizzeria using that stuff would be as unlikely as a high price southern restaurant using instant grits.

"You just can't get NYC pizza anywhere else, even if they say it's "New York Style."" I'll extend that to North Jersey but you are right. Once you leave the New York area good pizza and good Italian food in general are hard to get. Forget all that deep dish garbage and anything with pineapples on it.

For the Stones ticket price(s), a close to three hour (or longer on a good day) show like Springsteen does is what we should be getting. Quotemickschix Thanks for posting McCartney...perfect comparison. If there are Stones spies reading our posts, maybe they'll remind the band that their faithful followers NOTICE these things...34 songs next to 22----just sayin... Quality over quantity. Three Stones songs are more exciting than three hundred Macca songs.

Quotejumpontopofmebaby Dropped Doom and Gloom but did not add another. Was this because they took too long on other songs and maybe running short of time? I want 23 songs! I want another song besides Miss You. And I want more MT For $622 I demand it! Anything else you would like to demand? Perhaps your own private bathroom for when you have to take a leak?
