Quoteduke richardson it is a cool song, its only rock and roll as defined by the acknowledged masters of the forum almost sounds like a quote of 'Layla' in some part of one of the guitar overdubs... ^I fixed that for ya. F the haters, works for me. What the bleep are you expecting, another Sympathy? Gimme Shelter? etc, etc, etc,,,,

There was a recent show at the Iridium Club in NYC where Dennis McNally, a long time publicist for the Grateful Dead tells some very cool stories. Even if not a Dead fan, the story about Jerry Garcia and drummer Micky Hart firing one up at Al Gore's Vice Presidential home is a classic. Tracing Footsteps - Dennis McNally GD

CL's release "Back to the Woods" is very sweet listening. Keith on two tracks. Chuck sat in with the Allman Brothers the day before the first Fenway Park show and made for a fantastic 3 show run - Allmans on the 20th, then Stones on 21st/23rd. Best of both worlds. Yeah, this guy's a @#$%& machine! Aug 20, 2005 (Sat) The Allman Brothers Band Tweeter Center For the Performin

Quotedandelion1967 For sure the Beatles, Stones and the Who are the greatest rock bands ever. Love the Who!!! In my country people think great bands are Creedence (why, oh God??) Doors and that stuff, here The Who doesn't have a good airing in those days. "greatest" vs. "great" hmmm...CCR was a great band. As there are many other great bands. Best ever? Greatest? a matter o

The FBI recently uncovered and dismantled an internet fraud scheme that infected millions of computers worldwide The malware is known as “DNS Changer”. The virus prevents users' anti-virus software from functioning properly, hijacks the domain name system on infected systems, and directs the end user to sites where third parties receive advertising revenue. LoL..found this thread searching for "plagiarism"....anyway, discussing this in another forum... Steve Miller plagiarized himself using the riff from "My Dark Hour" to form the mega-hit Fly Like an Eagle. little bit of trivia: "Paul Ramon" played on that "My Dark Hour" track and one other track, "Celebration", on Miller's album Brave New Worl
