Mick Taylor has played this song a few times though... Mid 1980's at a Gig in LA, Acoustically he played this with Erwin Nijhoff on a RADIO 192 broadcast that has been WIDELY bootlegged and then he again played this at 2 gigs in late 2007 with Erwin & Mick's band

QuoteRokyfan Quoteduffydawg Quotertr M.T. over plays and is overrated. Keith and Ronnie should not be backing this guy up. What a slap in their faces. You are an idiot. Tell me a better "back and forth" than KR and MT in Sympathy for the Devil on GYYA??? So you saw them in 1969, huh? So you are like 65+ years old on a message board ranking on MT? I think you be crappin, my son.

Quote71Tele QuoteDoomandGloom or when the Nazi's bombed Pearl Harbor. That was the Nazis? I didn't know their planes could get that far without multiple refueling. I believe they subletted the bombings to the Toyota Corporation acting on behalf of Hirohito... but they must have BOTH forgot that "Behind every blade of Grass is a Gun"

Quotewhitem8 gripweed, that is a very cool find! I had never heard that before, but assume it was on the Lost Lennon Tapes? And tnhybrid, I agree! I saw him in Utah and did the sound check package, and it was stunning. Basically, a seperate 1 hour and 40 minute show! With only a few songs he did that evening. Fantastic! Well worth every penny. whitem8, not sure where I got that... I don't t

Quotewhitem8 For me I am more excited he added Hi Hi Hi! Great song! Hope Rusty is playing some vicious slide on it. And yes, Being the Bennefit for Mr. Kite is very interesting! But I wish he would have done Happiness is a Warm Gun instead! Happiness has always been one of my favorite John songs (his too I believe), but I would bet a 2013 Stones ticket he would never play that in concert..

QuoteLSTNT I was surprised to see that Mick Taylor did not come out for the final bows, either as a group or just the boys. Mick Taylor DID indded come out for the final bow, along with ALL of the musicians... he then started to walk away with Chuck & Lisa but Keef told him to stay... you can then see MT wave Keef to go on without him, but Keef insists MT stay with the 4 members and takes t

Heck, it's been played live before... here is MT playing it in the mid 1980's Live... except for the vocals I LIKE MT's approach to the song... with a bit of practice they could pull it off IMHO

Quote71Tele QuoteGumbootCloggeroo This song is a fine example of Keith Moon's issue with timing. He comes in a bit too fast. That's like criticizing "Honky Tonk Women" because of Charlie's intro. An amazing, timeless song. Keith Moon comes in too fast? Who cares? Hold on... didn't (Mr) Jimmy do the intro to HTW, not Charlie ??

Hmmm, having watched the LIB movie quite a few times over the years, I wanna say GH was working on I Me Mine DURING the LIB sessions, you get the great scene of J&Y dancing while the other 3eatles are jamming away on the song... at least that's HOW I remember I me mine.

QuoteToru A I remember he was in the same city of Kansas when I visited there to see the stones in 1981. Mick Taylor was touring with the Alvin Lee band and was playing in KC that week... Keith & Ronnie (I believe) ran into MT & asked MT to join the band for a few songs... very SAD news indeed, R.I.P> Alvin Lee

I've always enjoyed the Eagles music... I grew up singing "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and "Take it Easy" - both essential songs to learn as a teen, LOL... Now, as I recall Bernie Leadon was in the Flying Burrito Brothers and has a tie in to the Stones too... they played Altamont (Duh!) anyways, Bernie wrote a great tune for his former bandmate and freind of Keith Richards &q
