) Practically, use an audio editor. Invert one channel's phase (you can do it with any, but only one) and then convert the sound file to mono. There you are, this is the process.

This is the Out Of Phase Stereo version of the song - only Nicky Hopkins' piano and some Bobby Keyes sax can be heard. To my knowledge it's the Stones' most interesting sounding OOPSed song. How do you like it?

Thanks a lot! I'm downloading it. It was my first Stones show! Amazing and unbelievable memory.

My "favourite" is the one played on 2002-10-16, Toronto Canada. Mick started it in key D, and it took a good half minute for the band to follow him and transpose it... Chuck & Darryl were the first to realize it. Check it on youtube, it's interesting. After they found the right key, it emerges into a fine version with soulful Keith solos and an applauding Ronnie at the end.

A long time ago I read somewhere that during the Steel Wheels or the Urban Jungle tour, Jagger once had a problem with a faulty mike when he was up in the tower, during Sympathy for the Devil. I know it's a strange question but does somebody know which concert it was? Thanks!

Thanks for the hint! Unfortunately Hot Rocks DSD remastered has the mono version too... I don't know about Big Hits, don't have it. QuoteFreeBird QuoteDukedDoes anybody know if the 2002 remixed Satisfaction is on any of the DSD remastered albums? It should be on Big Hits and Hot Rocks, but I don't own either album. It's not on Rolled Gold+.

Maybe I am mistaken about this: Does anybody know if the 2002 remixed Satisfaction is on any of the DSD remastered albums? What is sure that the DSD remastered Out of our heads has the mono version. Thanks

I want this tape too!!! Does it still exist? Of the Beatles, many of their composing tapes surfaced and now available on bootlegs. For example, If I Fell, Strawberry Fields and many other. Even from Lennon's solo years many composing demos are available (the complete Double Fantasy demos also.) Never heard any similar of the Stones.

Hi all! I want to make a cell phone ring that contains the most of the fantastic piano track in the studio version of Satisfaction. But without vocals, or with just minimal vocal... On the mono version, the piano is barely audible. There is the old stereo version known from the old Hot Rocks version and bootlegs. Here the right channel contains piano, Brian's acoustic guitar and Mick

I can't give now any source, but remember reading a magazine with an interview with Jagger in 1991 (in a German magazine), after the release of Flashpoint. Jagger said Highwire was dating back to the IORR album's days. The music (or the music, partly) was made then. He wrote the lyrics in 1991.

Quotesouldoggie there's just something about a "Rolling Stone Arrested" headline that makes me smile and think to myself, all's still right with the world after all. Agree. You've got the point.

QuoteGazza Four and a half minutes of the Tokyo performance released on Flashpoint was edited out, but you're correct - even in the unedited 10-minute long performance of it, he still doesnt sing it. The verse has been left out in most versions for quite a few tours now as far as I can see. Yeah, I have (and love) that uncut version. Only Keith's solo was shortened.

Only a one song setlist on each show with songs being different. London O2: 23 Brown Sugar, Washington: 23 Honky Tonk Women, Helsinki: 23 Live With Me and so on.

It is missing on Flashpoint... and sometimes, in some shows too. This line is somehow a mystical point of the song! :-) And - sorry and blame me for this! - our singer in our band also don't used to sing this (no idea, why, just checked it)

Under The Radar as a warhorse...? :-) YGMR is a hit, a very Stonesy tune and drive with easy lyrics. It works very well in the first section of the setlist, always brings a good drive to the show. I don't think Too Tight would be the song that big percentage of the audience would enjoy show after show... It's not that cup of tea. Flip The Switch is OK, Rough Justice is OK, but none of

I love that YGMR became a warhorse. The Stones can be proud that a song from one of their newer albums - a not classic sixties track - does the trick in live so well. I consider many just don't like it only because it's not an oldie. Such a very good song that for me shows the Stones' strentgh and potential is still fine after the members are over 50...60 years! It really deserves the warhor

I believe actually Keith wrote the song - at least the main tune. I think it because on the Voodoo Lounge bootlegs there is a 10 minute slow (very early) version of YGMR with Keith singing it with working lyrics. The complete, final verses were written by Mick (probably).
