Quoteshortfatfanny Quotechamp72 That's a great interview...interesting about that call he got in 1977.... actually Taylor didn´t say he got the call in´77.he just referred to the toronto case Keith was involved in ´77 and Jagger´s remark " we´re gonna have to do this tour without Keith". Must have been the ´78 tour then, which might have been planned in ´77 but surely not fixe

For the 'comeback tour' in 1989 Jagger basically won the feud with Richards, and had it his way concerning the setup of the band and the stage, which all basically was taken from the Jagger solo tour template. For the Boston June 12th show we seem to have 2 options? 1- Citi Private Pass Pre-Sale April 12 10AM EDT 2- General On-Sale Monday April 15 10AM EDT So I take it that Boston will not have the $85 ticket offerings? Is this correct?

Quotelatebloomer The website is a mess, now it's saying that tickets to all the shows are sold out, even the ones like Philly that haven't gone on sale yet. Who the heck is running their website? The WEBsite is indeed quite a mess (intentional perhaps...??) It said that Boston was TBA - then sold out - and now it again says TBA....

The Stones ripping off solo Keith...shame keith started it...he ripped himself off on the album...runnin' too deep and will but you won't....there was talk he would sue himself before his handlers calmed him down....

Quotestupidguy2 This is really a great song. I immediately thought it was a shame it didn't come out on a Stones release because so many Stones are going to resist it as a Mick Jagger Solo Release. Their loss - it's one of his best, with or without the Stones. Great song along with a few other great ones from the same album. It is the criticism (of this song among others on this album) that

Quotesuperrevvy I'm sure many of the social anecdotes are true and amusing The insider stuff is fiction, and approved by Mick. The description of Mick as "furious" is just to help sales. If you believe either that Keith has a finer mind than Mick, or that Rupert believes that Keith has a finer mind than Mick, then you truly will believe anything. Well stated

Quotejamesfdouglas QuoteDandelionPowderman Stripped? 1) Wandering Spirit is a studio album (13 tracks, 10 brand-new), blowing away the three previous Stones studio albums. Stripped is a complete retread, 'mostly sort of' a live album. Agree with everything in your post. Minor point though - Wandering Spirit has 14 tracks, 10 brand-new.

A sad day. All the cliches about Ravi Shankar's passing being the end of an era couldnt be more true. His death marks the beginning of the end of a generation of Indian Classical musicians who kept the tradition alive. Despite his crossover to western pop, his dedication to protecting and advancing the rubric of Indian classical music was unmatched. His relevance to western audiences and

QuoteDoxa Now listened it five times... To me this sounds 100% Richards song - meaning: Jagger didn't bother to finish the song - add melody and structure, and most of all, lyrics. He tries to sing the first 'Oooh baby' (how damn lame!) with some little extra spark, but then loses his interest and just follows blindly Keith's sketchy lines and melody approximations. The ring in Jagger's tone s
