Congratulations with your record player Kent! Go for used ones in a good condition. Black And Blue sounds great on vinyl for example. Explore. Enjoy the trip.

It is the best live album ever. It has a groove that is fantastic. Now I'm hoping more shows are released from 1969 (complete) and MSG in particular.

Even back it up about 20 seconds before that. Mick tries to get Ronnie to maybe cue MT to wrap up, but Ronnie keeps missing Mick's looks by a secon

I am very very happy with Taylor in for 4 songs. More is a bonus. Wood is great on this tour too!

Quoteablett Frig me. Spine tingling? Really, who would have thought three years ago that the Stones would be this great? Indeed. What a comeback.

I'd rather have the live recordings properly mixed from multi track than rush-released with a so so sound. I can wait, but I would buy it blind!

Pfff. Breathtakingy good! Speechless... Wat a set! And great versions too. Wat a blistering performance of CYHMK and Sway was very good too (and will be even better next time!) This got to be the best performance of well a long long time. They still got it! What a great band!

OK cool. Now why did they record Bigger Bang with pro tools (no tape used?) and why whas it brickwalled to death? It didn't sound that good on the speakers.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Have they ever played an outtake live? Yes, they played Still A Fool, a Beggars Banquet outtake, in the Paradiso 1995.

I love the record. Listening right now to Hold Back. Sounds great on vinyl, despite Steve Lillywhite's production. Every track has great moments.Bass and dynamics are great too. It's even getting better to me after all these years.

QuoteJumpingKentFlash Quotesilkcut1978_ Thanks for the great thread! My Sony SACD-Player doesn't work anymore but RobberBride's link gave me a hint that my son's PS3 might play my SACDs as well - and yes, it works I enjoyed listening to the BluRay of Grrr btw, much more than the vinyl which is a collector's item for me, not a sonic adventure. PS3s can play SACD? Are you sure? As I understan

Midnight Rambler is unbelievable great. The band truly comes alive again. nice to see the interaction between these guys, and all those smiles when the magic comes alive in the playing. Great performance by all the guys. This is triple A rock & roll.

Quotekowalski Forget about tech audio tests and trust your ears. On ABKCO tracks I can easily hear the difference. Bass and highs sound more detailed and you get a thicker sound very close to the vinyl sound (though still not on par). Also another advantage of High Rez files is frequencies above 20kHz are not cut off like on CD's. Which means you get everything that was on the original record

The first thing I watched monday afternoon was SFTD. That solo! Goosebumps... Unbelievable transformation compared to the Bigger Bang tour. Plays better rhythm too. Plays and sings his own numbers again. The way he handles the intros on let's say TD and One More Shot : with authority. Big positive surprise. I'm proud of this band.

QuoteHappy24 Finally seeing MR after having seen quite a lot of other videos from the last night. Well, I'll be honest and say that I liked the other videos way more. Mick T. really seems to be lost, looks like he is improvising on a song he has never heard before. That strange moving around the stage, following Mick, doesn't help a bit. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to bash Mick in any

Thank you very much for this clip! Great to see this. Although it was great to see him back again with the stones, I really hope that the next one (if there is another one) will see a toned down performance from Mick Taylor. A better 'awareness' of where to play what if you will. Looked under-rehearsed from Mick Taylor. Hope he gets a second chance, if not we have this historic performance.
