I know it has been said before, but I want to add my heartfelt Thank You! to all the generous fans that share their videos with us. Just sitting here watching the Stones play gives me a feeling of excitement! The guys are playing tremendously well and I look forward to seeing more videos as the tour progresses!

Personally speaking, I would love to see an album of new material. I would buy it. Those that don't want a new album, don't buy it. Simple as that.

John Mayer! A songwriting genius! Say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say, say what you need to say......... With talent like this on stage, who needs the Stones? (sarcasm_

Mad Magazine! What a throwback to my childhood! I have boxes of Mads that I haven't looked at in years, and now this has gotten me itching to go through them. Thanks stonehearted for the National Lampoon scan - in its heyday it was the best piece of comedy you could get your hands on. As for the issue that had the thing about the long suppressed Stones album, the only thing I can remember is

Sorry to steer you all to a dud. Never been a fan of E!, but when it comes to the Stones, I'm always eager to at least check it out. Now let's rock n roll!

Was just channel surfing and saw that at 8:00 p.m., one hour before the concert, there is some kind of concert preview show on the E! network. The show is live, not sure what all will be on by the program description.

It's been sad to see so many records stores go out of business over the years. It was always fun wander into them on a dull night and browse through the bins of vinyl. We had River City Records, The Record Joint, Spin-it Records, The Record Connection, all of them independently owned, and none have been in existence for years. I don't enjoy at all going into places like Best Buy and Walmart to

I think the problem is that we are running out of decent people to nominate because most of the artists that deserve to be in the Hall are already there. I hate to think of the day when they have to choose between people like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

Satanic is the Stones album that just continues to grow on me. The ability to develop a concept album such as this and to maintain its sound of darkness, psychedelia and space is rather a fete in itself. If for no other reason, it is the Stones album that stands alone and in a category by itself. I recall that it was voted Bad Trip Album of the year by some magazine, and that Jagger once said

OK, I know how well these subjective lists go over, but for those that enjoy perusing through the list, such as myself, I hereby post it for entertainment purposes only. I do not know the origin of the list, as it was emailed to me by a friend. Interesting list of artists, many of whom never come to mind when discussing the greats in the field of music. 1. Same thing happened around here. WAOR in South Bend, Indiana, was one of the pioneers in rock FM radio. The AOR stood for album oriented rock, and they used to play cuts off of albums you would never here anywhere else in the area. They evolved into a classic rock format and for decades was my number 1 button on my car radio. They were 95.3 on the dial until they were moved to 95.7 and a much-

QuoteMax'sKansasCity I never get all worked up about lists, it is all just opinions, and I know I am the only one with the (usually) 100% correct opinion, and I can forgive the people who are wrong or/and dont know. Ha! Very good Max! Thanks for adding on to the list. And I agree - Alice Cooper does a good job and is fun to list to!

My local classic rock radio station (WAOR) just selected the top 11 bands of all time based on listener votes. Just presenting this list for entertainment purposes only, as this is based on opinion only. Still, happy to see the Stones made the top five. On their website they published the top 50 vote getters. Quite a diverse list. Here is the address if you want to check it out for yourself:

What I like most is the diverse wealth of knowledge that IORR;ers have on so many different topics. I find so many things on here that are really interesting and informative. The only thing I don't like is when people become pompous asses and try to dictate what we should and shouldn't be doing on here.

My first experience with the Stones was when my mom bought me the album Now. Up to this point I really knew nothing about them as I was into the Dave Clark 5. I played the album and absolutely hated it! My opinion was that they were a bunch of hillbillies! As I grew older and wiser and became more familiar with their music I discovered that the songs I heard on Now didn't resemble the music t

Overall, DW sucks! I hadn't played it in 20 years so I put it on and gave it another listen. It didn't age well because it still is a weak effort. As I listened I felt as if I was sitting in a lounge in Vegas listening to a band that came on at 4:30 to warm the crowd up for the evening performance by Wayne Newton. Overall it seems like a departure from their roots. There is no cohesion. It wa
