The riff itself is not so simple as one might think... you hear: da da...da da da- da da da-da da da , 3 notes right? the underlined notes are actually notes where keith bends the string downward to get to the note. the same way hoochie coochie man is played (for example) He does it very fast so its bearly noticable but it gives the riff its jumpy, bouncy, bluesy edge.
