QuoteLoudei QuoteSlick 81. vintage over vegas that's what I liked what about last nights show, it wasn't vegas... The band has been stripped down... Too bad Bill Wyman didn't play the whole show.imo it was indeed more stripped down, but lisa + bernard still = vegas. last night may have been one of the best vegas-era shows if not the best, but hampton is one of the best shows period. i enjoyed w

QuoteEddieByword QuoteSlick QuoteEddieByword QuoteThe Sicilian Ok now that the masses have been entertained with warhorses and guests, its time to entertain the fans. They should treat the warhorses like the first part of the set and switch two or three in and out each night. Five nights of the same songs essentially needs to diversify. We all have seen all five shows in either video or in

bernard, lisa, chuck, darryl, and tim have no business being out there either, so adding any other guests makes no difference, it's already watered-down stones.

Quotejamesfdouglas I would give them up until the 81/82 tour, including the albums. 20 years of being that good is nothing to sneeze at. The mid-80s are an unimportant blur, but I don't feel that has diminished their reputation... and crediblity quite as much as the Vegas ear, which is a straight line downward from every tour up to A Bigger Bang.+1, though i would miss undercover.

Quotelettingitbleed But...for Americans such as myself who have "cut the chord" and do not use sat or cable and just stream online...are there any options (a website or something) that would be offering it???no doubt there will quite a few streams out there that night, you just have to look around then.... like going to a show without a ticket yet lol.

Quotedcba QuoteGravityBoy How many guests did Led Zeppelin have? Yeah but they always were full of themselves... Plus live they sucked for most of the 1975-80 period so it's a wrong example.zeppelin live 1975-1980 > vegas stones live from 1989 on, not even close. at least latter-day zeppelin resembled them as they were in their prime.

Quotesteverogan QuoteMathijs You're not seeing a band, you're seeing an institute, a museum. It will probably be the only time in history since '73 that you can see the Stones with Taylor and Wyman again on stage. That's what you're paying for. And if you combine all money you've spend on official and bootleg recordings, cinema tickets, DVD's and what ever more, you've probably spend more than th

QuoteCaledonianGonzo QuoteJustin Was there any footage of the Stones rehearsing together from the December 2011 and/or Spring 2012 jams? A lot of people seemed to write off those jams as simply them getting together to film for the documentary. Well, was that footage included? No footage at all after 1981/2, other than All Down The Line from the Beacon Theatre.outstanding until the end credit

QuoteGravityBoy Quotekeithglimmer I always wondered about that too. I just figured the "operation" to relieve cranial pressure was maybe limited to drilling a hole or something along those lines. I'm not a doctor though, nor do I play one on tv. It said in the Sunday Times yesterday that Keith has 9 titianium pins in his skull. I was surprised when I read that. Maybe he wore a w

QuoteErik_Snow Yes I'd pay 815 dollars for that show if performed by Rolling Stones as they were in 60s/70s, with Elvis Presley guesting on track 8 and 9yep, and dont even need elvis. wouldnt walk across the street to see it done old-vegas style for free.
