Couldn't disagree more. It isn't the 60s or 70s anymore and live concerts have evolved. Most bands back in those days played the same set of songs every night, yes the music being new made it somewhat different in some aspects. But back then most people were seeing these bands in concert for the first time and many the only time during a particular tour. Bands from those days who still tour today

As a big Doors fan was shocked to hear this. A great musician and the glue of the Doors!

Quotecamper88 Some young (early 20's) dudes beside me at the Beacon Theatre show for Shine a Light were lighting up spliffs like it was Bob Marley's Birthday (they were about three months early). Before I knew it, I was the mayor of Cottonmouth city. Champagne & Reefer soon sounded like a more reasonable drug policy. Just say no . . . To Cottonmouth When I read your post I tho

Sounds great as long as its not overpriced. That Brussels set looks great but the price is insane, that will never sell. A nice little box set like Charlie is My Darling would be wonderful.

For me Taylor only playing on one song was my deciding factor not to buy tickets to see them in Philly, why talk about him playing a bigger part with the shows and having 3 guitars on so many songs that have more than 2 guitars on their albums. What a wasted opportunity, and I feel for those who dished out money hoping to see Taylor play on more songs for the shows that already happened.

In my opinion Hampton 81 is the best, LA Friday Mick's vocals are just so bad, not even bad but he misses so many verses, doesn't even sing some of the choruses. So that sorta ruins some songs all together for me. But I am bias cause that Hampton show for me is one of my all time favorites even though they didn't play my favorite Midnight Rambler. It shows how they can do a great show without

QuoteMax'sKansasCity Gotta admire The Stones for pushing the envelope, but there are always dangers when you push the envelope. I don't even know how to respond to this, you admire them for trying to milk the most money out of their fans. Unless you are in the business of concert promoting shame on you. I will gladly go see Dylan or Neil Young play for $40 a ticket and listen to them &

Haven't heard it yet, found it strange that you can't find this on cd. Regarding their concerts released on cd, the sound is perfect soundboard quality and the cds come in a cool little cardboard case. And since their set lists are so different each show its a nice little thing they do for their fans. I saw a few weeks ago they closed their show with Jumpin Jack Flash and Street Fighting Man.

Nothing will change, the crowd cheers and is happy. Show is sold out, there will always be wealthy people willing to pay for a ticket to see the Stones. That's what matters. If some of those people are not happy or hear a song they don't recognize that seems to be the biggest concern. Even its from an album that might be on all the lists they read in Rolling Stone that says Exile or Beggars B

For me I am waiting to get tickets to see what these shows shape up to be, if its the same thing we got in 2012 set list wise and with Taylor on just Midnight Rambler than I'll pass. But why would they rehearse and mentioned Taylor being more involved and Mick mention ideas for the set list if its going to be the same old greatest hits show.. Just waiting to see if its worth it

I'm getting married in June and we picked Mick's Hang On To Me Tonight, we love the song but realized recently it could be a little tough to dance to as a wedding song. Also realized when picking our wedding song that most Stones ballads are about breakups, have drug references or the lyrics are on the dark side. But I guess that is generally why if I were a kid in the 60s the Stones would app

I hope they don't play Heard it Through the Grapevine, for all the great songs they've written why cover this stupid song. Would be just as bad as Love Train, Mr. Pitiful and all the other covers that are dominated by horns. If their going to play a cover why not one of the covers they are known for like I'm A King Bee, Around and Around and so many others.

Yeah I have a wedding and cruise coming up in May and June and making travel plans to Philly or Chicago would be a lot with so much going on and my fiance is dying to see the Stones, the day we leave for the cruise was the day that was marked as the Stones playing in Pittsburgh, she was upset about that all day when I told her the rumor.. So crossing my fingers they announce a gig here and not

Was wondering what the chances are of the Stones playing in Pittsburgh. They were rumored to be playing in Pitt in May but nothing was announced, I know there will be more shows announced but I'm thinking they will be in either Philly or NYC. Thought it was odd to have Pittsburgh on that list of cities from a few days ago, and there are still some gaps in concert dates, what you think the cha

He might be good at whatever he does outside of the Stones but for my taste everything he has done on any Stones song was god awful and for me he practically ruined.

I am a Black Crowes fan and like their music but I have a hard time listening to Chris Robinson give interviews because he comes off as some sort of hippie poser. However what he says here I find to be no big deal and I agree with him for the most part. I do think Mick sounded great and don't agree with that. I wouldn't mind however if Mick didn't run around and just sang but I know Mick feels th

On which live versions does Mick sing "I bet you think that your the only pussy in town"... Can't remember I think he did that in some of the live versions from 1975. Anyone know??

I went to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame when I was in Cleveland once and thought it was a complete joke. 20 something bucks a ticket to see nothing impressive at all. I couldn't believe it, some of the stuff they had in the small Stones section wasn't even accurate. They also had Mick Jagger's Dancing in the Street playing where the Stones exhibit was.

One of my favorite Stones songs, hard to believe it hasn't been played live since it first came out. But that seems to be the case with so many of their pre 1968 songs.

Like both songs but love Sweethearts Together, my friend used it as his wedding song and a band performed it live and it was great, so many people at his wedding asked who that song was by and loved it.

I freakin love this album. I probably listen to it more than anything that Mick or the Stones has done since maybe Wondering Spirit. Was glad that Mick did something without the Stones where he wasn't trying to sound like the Stones.

One of my favorite Stones songs, always has been the new version with Mick's vocals is awesome. Shows he can really turn in on and do that country voice ala Dead Flowers, Dear Doctor and so on. Wish they played this one live.
