Of course they gave away tickets. The Stones price is roughly 100 USD. Well below U2 or Coldplay. AEG has surely booked a huge reserve in its accounts. That means also that more tour is in real jeopardize. They are not more bankable. What a disaster. Keith do not care. But Mick !!! No promoters would want in the future to put a dime on them. It seems that Mick lost the hand on money things. They made the wrong choice. Sad for the 000's who would have wished to seem them live. Can I venture this : Full capacity : 312,000 x 2/3 = 208,000 audience x 500 USD = 104 MUSD for the US. For UK : 130,000 x 200 USD = 26 MUSD. Which totals : 338,000 audience ( simply poor) for 130 MUSD ( quite rich). Is this really The Rolling Stones ?
