Can you imagine Chuck stopping Little Queenie after a few bars, making wild gestures with his arms indicating that the drummer hit the wrong beat? And then once more because a spotlight is pointed so that he can't see the audiance? That would be a laugh. No really, I love him. I've seen him some years ago and it was good fun in every way.

Anyone read the reviews? Mr. Goodman and mr. Bagel once again appear to have seen different shows, where the former picked one of the numerous free seat in de $600 section with his upper ring ticket, and the latter remarks that all fancy sections were full. Also Lisa is giving the two of them a rather different Gimme Shelter. I must say Dean Goodman is becoming an entertaining read.

QuoteMax'sKansasCity a simple Katy Perry search now shows BOB as first result. Don't forget that is because you probably also searched for the Stones, earlier. Google typically remembers your every move. If your first search result were Katy Perry in a state of undress, guess what you searched for earlier.

Quotesonomastone mick Taylor (...) wasn't that impressive and spent part of the song dancing (poorly) rather than playing guitar. He also almost screwed up a part Hahaha, maybe he misinterpreted his role. Maybe he thought he was supposed to fit in with contemporary Stones rather than relive the seventies, which he was actually hired to do.

QuoteOneHit Doom and Gloom should open the show, it's just that kind of song. I love it. Not likely. I don't think they ever opened with a song that has Jagger on guitar.

As a dutchman I'm not an expert in English grammar, however, "we want an icecream, please", still sounds quite demanding in spite of the please bit.

QuoteTravellinMan Paul should show up with a cane. I bet he gets put in accessibility seats. If they kick him out for being mobility impaired he gets to retire early after he sues Oracle Arena. I'm in the same boat, bad hip and $85 tickets. I'm showing up with a cane. You're being mostly sarcastic, I hope, about the way these things are dealt with in the US?

- I don't like the loudness of the early to mid 70's tours. I.e. LA Forum annoys the cr*p out of me. - They should not be allowed to do anything from Some Girls (10 track original) except Beast of Burden and Before They Make Me Run.

A couple of weeks after the O2 shows last year (on which I passed for price reasons), I was in London at the O2 to watch "The war of the worlds" with colleagues, on free tickets I would have never bought myself. All the time I was thinking, why couldn't they have planned our company's little outing some weeks earlier?

The whole discussion is a sad repetition of what he was supposed to be out of 20 years ago. What does he get when being back with the Stones? A sad discussion about credits. It ridicules all the work he's invested over the last 20 years in not caring. He bloody well cares and nothing's changed, only that he's almost 80 by now and won't get another chance to demonstratively not care.

This Hyde Park Festival is a bit weird isn't it? It has Bon Jovi and Kaiserchiefs on Friday, Stones on Saturday and then Stones again a week later. That's about it really. In the meantime, you can have a snack and enjoy culture: Quotewww.bst-hydepark.comIn what heralds a totally unique event offer for London, each live music-packed weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse enter

They won't ask him to join in at Glastonbury since the Pyramid stage crowd has no clue who he is. If he asked though, they would have him. But he won't ask, Bill doesn't ask, he wants to be asked. Along that line, if he had asked to join in with MT at the O2 for Satisfaction, they'd probably have let him.

I find Coachella to be a weird name. It sounds like a bad horror movie about a giant cockroach.

Indeed they seem picky regarding festivals. Glastonbury for the fact that it's a first and Hyde park for the nostalgic fact that it's a second. The rest of the concerts (the US ones) are the opposite: the typical high end ones, completely Stones themed. By the way, apart from the stage, the Hyde Park dates will breath Stones all over, since the other acts sound more like extended warmups.

Quotebuttons67 best not to stay in centre london. go a few tube stations out and get cheaper, as long as you within walking distance off a tube station. premier inn does good deals. Last tubes tend to run at around 0:30 from inner London. I always find that a bit provincial. Not that I expect the Stones to be on that late, but one would like to have a beer.

What's your concept of 'near'? Why would you want to stay near the Park anyway? Just book a decent one within a three mile radius, so that if you miss the last tube you can walk.

I have a feeling the US parts of the tour have always been more interesting than de European ones. Moneywise that is, because arena tours are a bigger market in the US and they might have been put down by the European stadium thing over 2006 and especially 2007. Of course, high ticket prices will have contributed to anything but sell-out stadiums back then, with €110 tickets. Still, if a

It's an interesting concept for the Stones to only have an indoor stage designed, where for the festival dates they'll probably use the festival stages, like the weird Glastonbury one. I wonder what the Hyde Park stage will look like. On recent tours, the Stones have only appeared comfortable when bringing their own everything, which imo was a reason for them not to join the festival circus.
