Vincent, based on that first photo you look familiar. You didn't sing or play in a band back then, did you?

Quoteblack n blue QuoteMore Hot Rocks Don't feel bad Leaf fans. I have Sabre season tickets. Still hate the leafs, Sabres are spinning their wheels Leafs hate you, too, bud. Hating the Leafs is such a cliche, at least here in Canada.

QuoteStoneage Thanks, Andrew. Those penalties! My heart almost stopped. We were lucky though, Canada was the better team. Stamkos and Subban are real class players. I liked the winning penalty: A slapshot! Yeah, I didn't watch the game but turned it on just as the Swedish player was taking that slapshot, then Eberle missed for Canada. He's usually "money" on shootouts but hit the post

QuoteStoneage I know, no one except me cares about ice-hockey here but Sweden- Canada after two periods: 0-1. Looks like Canada is going to win this... Or not. Congratulations!

QuoteDGA35 Torrie Robertson, the name sounds vaguely familiar. He was im Detroit the same time they had Probert and Kocur? Yeah, that's probably about right, except that it would seem odd to think they'd have all three of those guys at the same time. If you've got Probert and Kocur, you don't really need Torrie, if you know what I mean. Maybe he came in after Probert left. Anyway, most of his

Stoneage, Sweden and Canada should be pretty evenly matched, shouldn't they? Regardless, should be good, may the best team win.

QuoteDGA35 I cannot believe the Leafs lost! That was one of the biggest chokes in NHL history. I've never seen a team score two goals that late in the game with the goalie pulled. That was the first time in playoff history a team has won a game 7 while being down 3 goals in the third period. Full credit to the Bruins for coming back but that was a monumental collapse by the Leafs. As the say

QuoteStoneage Although not exactly an NHL fanboy I feel sorry for all Leafs fans. 4-1 up and ten minutes to go and still they lose in overtime! Leafs are a bit of a favourite since both Börje Salming and Mats Sundin played there. Of course though they never won anything... Love Salming and Sundin. Two great players and very classy people. I got to see Salming play a couple times when I was a

Heartbreaking. Future looks pretty good for the Leafs, though, gotta add a couple vets and shore up the D a bit. Great effort by a young group and kudos to the Bruins on the comeback. If you had told me at the beginning of the year they'd take Boston to Game 7 o/t I'd be okay with it. Learn from adversity, blue!

Quotedaspyknows Disgusting. All this is available for free. I hope nobody spends money supporting this. Lighten up. Some people still like to buy silver boot cds and vinyl. I do, in addition to downloading shows FOR FREE. I've dealt with John before and would again. No one is forcing anyone here, he's selling off his collection, he's not a boot label. Having said that, those prices are prett

Don't necessarily disagree but I've noticed the Stones Tarantura titles seem to retail for $20 or so less per dbl. cd than their Zep/Queen/etc. releases. Not sure why.

Love it, I can take no small amount of satisfaction from the fact the Buds have already done better in this years' playoffs than Canucks by actually winning a game. Hasn't been easy being a Leafs fan out here in B.C. the last few years, have had to put up with a whole lot of smugness and condescension. Time to start the rebuild, 'Nucks. See ya in passing on the way down.

Those would be the logical choices. I'm pumped that the Leafs played way better in Game 2 and pulled off a split in Boston. Bruins' D shown to be slow, crazy line changes gets Kessel away from Chara and he gets the Boston monkey off his back and scores the game winner! Really happy for Phil, in particular. Keep it going in Game 3, boys, first playoff game in T.O. in nine years!

As a Leafs fan, happy they're finally back in the playoffs, bummed about their performance in Game One. Their youth and lack of playoff experience was very evident. Saturday's gotta be a better effort.

Take "Sad Vacation" : you wanted to climb onstage ad punch the guy for being so sobby and (female) attention "whory"... I'll give you that one, dcba. Never liked Sad Vacation. But I do like plenty of the other slow ones: It's Not Enough (which Nolan re

Quotedcba Quoteandrewm I'm a huge JT fan You don't say? Okay let's now apply a marxist view to JT : Take this Karl Marx text and you'll notice Keith Richards is the 1st occurence in history (aka the grandiose historical one) and Jt is the second (aka the parody or the buffoon). Your constant use of emoticons is quite tiresome.

Chinese Rocks was entirely and solely written by Dee Dee Ramone and Richard Hell. So that's not much left for poor Johnny... Maybe the "So Alone" album? He was a skilled guitarist and he was lucky to have a GREAT drummer behind him : Jerry Nolan. Check J

Saw Flaming Lips outdoors last summer and it was really good and I'd like to se MGMT, too. And I'd see Ms. Jett any day of the week, love her. Actually, ZZ would be pretty fun as well-that list ain't bad at all, especially at those prices.

Agree, Tommy. I forgot to mention, too, that Loud Family did a great version of Rocks Off on their last album (first song on the album-ballsy!) and followed it with a tune called Song About "Rocks Off". I asked him about it and he said he'd been wanting to cover Rocks Off since the 70's. It's a very Chilton-esque take on the song. Couldn't find Rocks Off on You Tube but here's Song A

I'm really busted up about this. Does anyone remember Game Theory or Loud Family from the 80's /90's? Scott was one of my favourite songwriters, and was extremely undervalued-great power pop in the vein of Big Star, Rundgren, Sparks, etc. Recently, he had written a great book about his favourite music from every year, beginning in, I think, 1960, called Music:What Happened? Great songwriter, real
