QuoteCindyC But my good mom side was able to make him feel better pretty quickly and I do think for him, it was the right decision to leave. Oh well, we tried right? LOL. No doubt. Go out for a pizza, just the two of you, listen to some Stones on the way there and back and tell him how much you love him.

Cindy, You should be proud of yourself for respecting his wishes and not returning. My son had the same type of experience at about the same age a few years ago. It can be too much sensory overload, coupled with the issues he encountered outside before the show, causing anxiety and a sense of fear that a kid that age just doesn't need to try to overcome. Don't worry and please tell him no

Bjornulf, Don't sell yourself short... I would rank you right between Bernard and Lisa, and certainly above Matt Clifford.

I absolutely love this. The way Mick stays close to the main part of the stage. The way Keith moves to and from his microphone. The way the song takes on a life of it's own. Spectacular. Thanks.

Quotebenstones Quoteangee benstones, thanks so much for all of this! Wonderful shots and great description. Wish we could have met at Chicago II and have fun at Hyde Park!! Where exactly are you in that pic, first row, Keith's side--how many from, say, the left end? Edited to add: Oh, one of the photographers. Yes, look at the picture that Max showed me. I am the one taking the picture i

Quotecamper88 QuoteKurt It's Canada, eh? Here's a tip for getting along with the natives: you don't need a question mark after the use of "eh," eh. You're not really asking a question, eh. You're making a declarative statement, eh. As an American might say: "You know. You know what I mean. You know what I'm saying. You feel me," Canadians will just say, "eh,"

Hey Barry, First off...congrats to you that you saw all three shows! Damn. Who would have imagined that the Stones would spend a week in Chicago in 2013?! Having seen #2 and # 3, I have to rank Friday night as the better of the two. In fact, it's quickly becoming my favorite Rolling Stones show EVER! All Down The Line was phenomenal! Knocking with Taylor was phenomenal! Start Me Up wa

I thought she did a great job on a great song. She's a huge star and she looked like she fit in with our heroes just fine. It's one song. It's fun. These guests energize the crowd in the building and then they're gone. Lighten up everyone.

QuoteJames Kirk Just think if the Stones attempted a stunt live album like this in the 80's they would have been dueting with the likes of Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, George Michael, Poison, and New Kids on the Block. Sounds ridiculous doesn't it, but the Katy Perry's + Taylor Swift etc, are going just as ridiculous in a few years...I just don't get these guys these days. And if they tried this in

Quotegotdablouse Correct, get yourself a pair of these "musician earplugs" : for the grand total of $10 (or less). I got some after being made half deaf at the Trabendo last year, they basically turn the level down without filtering out frequencies like standard earplugs would do. Wish I'd known about them years ago! It's too bad the sound seems to be very loud at the recent con

Just keep in mind, Ticketmaster's strategy is to hold back good seats for last minute buyers. If you're on the fence about going to a show and you scan the available tickets and they are all bad, you probably won't purchase them. So, Ticketmaster sells all the bad seats in the initial on-sale! What a business.

I got a chance to check this out last night and it's AWESOME. The Rock Hall never really had a very good display for the Stones until now. Here a few pics that I took last night. This sign was at a cool headphone listening station! Ian Stewart Travel Permit. Telegram to Muddy Waters. I also wrote a blog post on the Preview Party itself, if anyone cares to check it ou
