It's unbelievable that they let Mick Taylor sit backstage while they played "Honky Tonk Women," "Brown Sugar," etc., songs that he originally played on. Otherwise, show was really good except for Gwen Stefani fumbling "Wild Horses."

$85 tickets were very easy to obtain for Staples Center in LA, I think they probably sold more than the stated "1000." No additional fee, $170 total for two.

I was directly (10-15 feet?) in front of the stage at LA Coliseum in 1981 and the sound was amazing! It was the first time I'd ever heard the sound from the amps coming off the stage, instead of just through the PA. Even Mick's Ovation guitar sounded great.

Quote71Tele To make it even more authentic, they can take Ronnie out of the mix entirely like they did to Brian on this version. Haven't they been doing that since 1989?

I remember hearing that when Mick Jagger was recording with The Dust Brothers in Silverlake, he'd stop at the Vons on Alvarado and buy water and juice.

Maybe The Stones don't do their own grocery shopping but the remaining Beatles definitely do. There's been plenty of photos over the last few years of Paul and Ringo (separately) shopping at LA supermarkets in the middle of the night.

Roger sounded much better singing "See Me Feel Me" at the Olympics than he did singing it at a wedding I attended in 1993, Roger as the wedding singer also performed "Stand By Me."

QuoteJuanTCB I'd love it too, but given that Rhino's talked about doing just that with the Faces catalogue for years and we still have nothing to show for it, I'm not holding my breath. Also, wasn't a lot of Now Look taken from the Own Album sessions? There might not be a lot left in the can... Rhino remastered The Faces catalog (with bonus tracks) a few years ago but Rod Stewart's manager
