Such a sad loss to the whole Pink Floyd jigsaw. Whenever interviewed I always thought Storm had a very similar persona to Charlie Watts. Enjoy The Great Gig In The Sky.

Don't know about the US shows but as far as Glastonbury goes there's no chance. I'd hazard a guess and say about 95% of that audience wouldn't know that song if it bit them in the arse. 80% at Hyde Park!

Mibbe I imagined this but was there not a cock-up on an under-rehearsed Anybody Seen My Baby on one of the early Bridges shows. Possibly Chicago or Boston?

QuoteDandelionPowderman Ridiculous? I liked it. It tells a story in very few words, compared with the others. As a journalist i like that However, his I'm Going Down-solo on the first show really did shut up Jeff Beck's sqeeching. That was priceless - and best of all; I was there to see it Good call

QuoteHappy24 How I wish we could have Springsteen / McCartney / Bono / whoever threads here without people starting to post their hateful comments immediately. It is all just rock'n'roll, nothing more, nothing less. And if someone thinks there is only one great band and all others must be necessarily awful, then...I am sorry for those people, their lives must be very dull. But still, they sho

And yet again Keith fell foul of the authorities by lighting up on stage as the No Smoking In Public ban had recently came in to force in Glasgow. Later in the week for two hours Glasgow City Council used approximately 6K of tax-payers money at a meeting on whether to charge him! Stuff of Legend. Gave rise to the boot 'No Smoking In Glasgow'. Great show (despite Keith's guitar cuttn out on Start

I think the element of surprise was the opener to Sunday's show. When the house lights went out I think me along with 99% of the audience were expecting the wall of flame and the opening chords of Start Me Up or JJF blasting out. To be honest it took me a few seconds to realise what the song was but loved it.

I can take Beck or leave him but with some of the criticism the guy's getting here one can only assume a descendant of Don Vito Corleone held a gun to his head and made him an offer he couldn't refuse to play on Sunday. I mean he WAS a guest and the last time I checked guest's are usually invited by the host.....Not Beck's problem.

QuoteGeorges It was a real great show. And I do say that Bill Wyman should have played the whole gig. The highlight was the full band line-up for the 1st time in 20 years. Why Bill Wyman did not stay on stage during the whole show? And just dump The Munch after almost 20 years good service?!
