Only time this song worked by the way. 1972 and 1973. Thats it. I like the funky version from 1976, and wort of 1981, but hey 1972 is...the best. Followed by 1973 or maybe the other way around, hard to pick one of those diamonds. Only time this worked live and turned into something bigger, higher, spheric. That vanished when Taylor left.

Horrible version from 1972. Just kidding. Taylor was gold. Listen from 3.00 something, I mean did he know what to play or what. Jagger sounds like he's saying: "Dont roll me much now?"

Quotesonomastone What the commenter you speak of says is that Taylor's tendency to constantly solo mars (makes worse) a lot of the live performances of the period. The point is not that Keith was jealous but that Keith had to tell him to cool it in order to sae the performance. Hehe, eh...no.

Well done Mick. Maybe Mick and Keith could hire a producer who actually could help them create a show that would raise eyebrows - in a good way. Include Wyman on all songs and let Taylor rehearse properly WITH the band for MR, BS, YCAGWYW and other songs from his live and/or studio era. Throwing in Taylor on one number, unrehearsed and Wyman on a pointless HTW was just mean.

If Ronnie recorded with Rod in June 1969 at the Olympic Studios, he and Rod probably talked to Mick and Charlie briefly or something. Keith makes stuff up but Ronnie I see connecting with people. I dont think he's lying just changing the story a little. Maybe Mick and Charlie rehearsed for Hyde Park and told Rod and Ronnie they just sacked Brian.

Quotejamesfdouglas In 1990 Keith could still play/sing like this... Yeah horrible. Happy belongs to the 70s. Fantastic hit in 1972, cool zonked rock life version in 1975, a bit heavier in 1976, wild in 1978. After that - nothing.

–Dozier–Holland http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nowhere_to_Run_(song) wrote the riff. Or whoever arranged the horns on Nowhere to run.

Id prefer some new acts who could change the song, unknown or known producers, artists whatever. Think outside the box Mick! I would not like to e see or hear Clapton or Santana again.

Quoteslew redhotcarpet - I understand and I know you will disagree with me but the band plays better now than it did in 1975. Okay maybe not the band but Mick sings much better he was terrible on the 1975 tour. I disagree and I think you misunderstand the Jaggerism. He's not "supposed" to sing "well". He based his career on being Jagger and singing like Jagger. Angie wa

Yeah but thats not really the same. I like it still because it's out there, the suit, but the 1974 thing is very Clockworky and Bowiesh and funky.

Its one of the coolest videos ever by the Stones. Mick does a great vocal over dub and he looks very cool. Part of the real Stones. Fantastic.

Overrated. Not bad at all but overrated. I love LYL, which everybody hates and Id really love a proper coleection of songs from 1975 and a few from 1976 + El Mocambo. And LYL is not that, not even close. A proper release of The unreleased live album from 1972 and a better 1973 live album would be so much better than Yayas.

Quotestonesdan60 Quotemuenke QuoteVT22 QuoteDoxa Re that "Brown Sugar" clip... It is really a treasure to listen and watch Keith Richards there. He is really getting better and better gig by gig since he started to play the guitar again. I can't recall when that simple riffage has sounded so cool and groovie. Keeping the rhythm down-down-down with that idiosyncratic timing, and those
