QuoteSilver Dagger Quotekevinkamphuis Here's my MULTICAM video of Midnight Rambler (I edited out the 2 bum notes in the first solo Amazing job there Kevin. How many versions are there now? There are 4 or 5 versions; I used 3 versions for this multicam. The pit footage is really great!

Probably from Manchester '73; Look at this pic same ground, jumpsuit (no belt!), shoes, hair etc anyway, that little snippet looks gorgeous 35mm film!

QuoteTumblin_Dice_07 Quotehbwriter that last photo there is just so classic - such an emblem of '73- beautifully trashed, glammed and wasted - I don't think that last one is even from '73. I think it's from the '72 American tour. It's from Birmingham '73

Only a couple of songs from the KBFH radio...they were mixed in with Brussels 1st for a 'best of' '73 concert. However, both Wembley shows were recorded on multitrack by Andy Johns. 16mm film from the complete Wembley 8th show exist...

Oakland '69 was recorded on multitrack by Bill Graham, so it does exist. Hopefully a live release of 1970. The Paris shows were recorded.

My vote goes for Leeds 71, hopefully mixed like Ya Ya's!

QuoteRedhotcarpet Quoterocker1 Would we like it better than LA Friday? (and for the sake of comparison disregard the El Mocambo tracks). For the tracks that appear on both albums, I would guess there are a fair amount of folks who strongly prefer the LYL performances. Granted, overdubs skew the comparisons. Someone might do a song-for-song comparison. I'm not up for it now, but maybe s

Am I the only one who really don't like the sound/mix of this release? Everything sounds so loud, lifeless, compressend and WAY to modern...it's a 1975 concert recorded on ANALOGUE 16-track multi's, where's the analogue sound? Same goes for ladies & gentlemen; recorded on 32!-track multi's. The sound really sucked. They said remixed & remastered. Only thing they did is remaster the mov

QuoteMathijs Quotekowalski QuoteWeLoveYou Quotekowalski QuoteWeLoveYou You can't change the dynamics once they're already squashed. I listened to Captain Acid's Hampton81 "remaster" and there was no change Because he almost hadn't anything changed. If I remember well he only had the sound lowered and did some slight EQ adjustements. So what was changed with the GS track you heard

Quotelamemodem2 It sounds pretty great to my ears. I've really been happy with all three releases. Also, I think you're doing it wrong if you have to "look" at waveforms to "see" if the music is brickwalled and then decide you don't like it. There is no "Depth" in the music. It's mastered way to loud. When you are listening with €300 earphones and audiophile e

Quotefrankotero True, and however great it is, it's not exactly an unreleased revelation. A 1970 or 1999 concert would be something very exciting. Also the complete El Mocambo! That's what I mean. Unbelievable! It's an almost uncirculated soundboard recording from the 1973 tour and you're sayin' it's not a revelation... How can a 1999 recording be? I could've never imagined a professiona

I'm wondering if someone could give me a good answer why the sound quality of the 1969 soundboards (get yer ya ya's out & Gimme shelter) is so much better than the 1972-1973 tour? (Ladies & Gentlemen / Brussels affair) Differences: 1969 The stereo mix; Taylor hard left, drums/bass/vocals center, Richars hard right Big fat sound with good clearity and dynamic 1972/1973 Ladies &a
