A friend of mine did play with Pete Best on the argentine cover band The Beats. That was funny, I always thought the Beatles were right leaving Pete Best, he was painful. What a loser

QuoteDoomandGloom Back in the day Roger was highly respected, his skills have decreased but he still is one of the great LV's,, I would not say he's underrated. In Argentina people thinks that Creedence and The Doors were the among greatest bands, and they barelly knows The Who. Roger may not be underrated in USA or UK, but not for the rest of the world.

The strong beats in classical music (german music after all) are the first and the third, maybe that's why they clap that way

Two or three things on Sway 1) Keith didn't seem to remeber the song properly 2) Outro solo must be longer!! MT was about to burn down the house... and the comes Mick to stop him! 3) Best song ever, best solo ever, best recording ever WHAT A SONG!!! Love Charlie roll after the first solo in the original recording, before the "one day I'll woke up to find"

CW: Is there any more new music in the offing? There's nothing yet. I've lost track with the record industry world, I don't get it any more. It's gone beyond me. The last single I thought was very good, but things don't mean anything any more. They're just tacked on the end of a reissue – and that ends up selling more than a new album. It's not like when Sgt Pepper came out and you thought, \&

Procol Harum, one of the best bands ever. Try Shine on brightly, A salty dog and if you're on a low mood, Home. Keith Reid's lyrics: Caprice, your bugle blew away the cobwebs from my ears and for once I stood quite naked. Unashamed, I wept the tears which I tried to hide inside myself from me, I mean from you but the shame I found too painful and the pain it only grew "Magdalene&

Quotelatebloomer There is a biography about Nicky that was published just last year, "And on Piano ...Nicky Hopkins: The Extraordinary Life of Rock's Greatest Session Man." It's gotten decent reviews. I've been meaning to get a copy, but I'm to busy to add another book to my reading list right now. Anyone here read it? I got mine, what a book! Sad one, Nicky has a sad life in ma

Sweethearts togheter, beautiful song!!! New faces is a lovely one too, but has that "60's song recorded in the 90's" feeling. The two are good, and I think the whole Voodoo Loung album (excepting Brand new car and Suck on the jugular) is maybe one of their best ones.

This is sure not the best, but I love the whispers from beneath the original track. Yeah, and Taylor mocking the piano in Nicky Hopkins Masterwork, is a complete lack of respect.
