the number of chords in a song are hardly the sole determiner of how complex it is. the rhythmic stops and starts in 'sway' are very different than the rest of the songs in the show. as is the general feel of the song. adding a third guitar to the mix- and not in the form of additional rhythm, but in the form of Mick Taylor's leads- only adds to the complexity. the stones have always had their

I would ask how many of the set list whiners have actually attended at least one show this tour, but they'd probably lie just to try and give a sense of validity to their inane opinions. Not that it matters; most of the hard core whiners aren't fans anyway.

Taylor's playing with the Stones in 2012/2013 is superfluous, at best. That said, I'm all but certain he'll start playing with them more as the tour continues. Hopefully, if they come back to North America in the Fall, he'll be back where he belongs- in Europe, playing crappy Jazz fusion nonsense in front of dozens of people. God Bless Ron Wood.

Hey look! IORRs who didn't attend the show trying to make it seem like they understand what was going on during the show! How odd!! And, wait....what's that? Misogynistic statements left and right concerning a female performer deemed unworthy by the "fans" at IORR to share the same stage with the Stones? I can't believe it! Here's a hint; the Stones decide who deserves to be on stage

Why would an increase in stage time for MT mean Ronnie needs an order of protection? The bizarre need for your limited definition of the Rolling Stones to exist in a world outside of your mind is really, really sad. It's not a competition. It's a band. But, by all means, continue living the delusion that MT and Ronnie are competing for...what exactly? Man...the last few decades must have

How can anyone know if a show was "mailed in" when they weren't there? I hope some of the whiners on this board work for competing bands. I hope there is an ulterior motive that drives their desperate, often hilarious, levels of negativity. Because, if not, that would be incredibly sad.

I think the Stones saved Mick Taylor. So, your post is incorrect.

You Got The Silver was amazing last night. Absolutely heartfelt and wonderful. The Rolling Stones are on the road again creating magic and the majority of posters on this board are sitting at home, watching clips on Youtube, and complaining. Far be it from me to define what constitutes being a "fan" of the Rolling Stones, but it seems like, perhaps, actually liking the band should be

"To say you can't have an opinion on the shows unless you're there is a bit absurd, like saying you can't have an opinion about the Gimme Shelter movie unless you were at Altamont." That is absurd and could not be more wrong. Seriously....maybe the least informed statement ever made on this board and that is saying a lot. Please....just try and remember that facts and opinions

Have a great time at the show tonight, everyone!! I can't imagine the mindset of someone who thinks an appearance by Katy Perry can have an adverse effect on a Rolling Stones concert. And, I'm grateful for that.

Good lord. The cry babies on this board. You people are a mad, delusional, sad bunch, aren't ya? Hope anyone who goes has a great time. Hopefully Katy Perry being onstage with the band for 5 minutes won't ruin the Rolling Stones in concert for you. If she does, seek professional help immediately.

And it becomes more and more obvious that so very many people on this board aren't Stones fans, but Taylor fans instead. Go listen to some Jazz/Blues fusion crap. Go plunk down some bucks for a Taylor solo show and pray he actually shows up. Leave the Rock and Roll to Jagger, Richards, Watts, and Wood: The Rolling Stones.

The concept that Jagger is concerned adding Taylor to the Rolling Stones for a few more songs in 2013 might somehow garner unfavorable comparisons to '72 is both absurd and hilarious. I mean, half the "fans" on this board compare every note the Stones have played since 1975 to 1972. There is no reason whatsoever to think that Jagger doesn't know this or that he cares in the least abo

The concept that Ronnie should leave the stage when Mick Taylor joins the Rolling Stones for a few songs is both absurd and an extremely helpful example of some of the delusional thinking that occurs on this board. I'm truly sorry that your hero playing on tour in 2013 with the band that made his career isn't enough for you. Try and enjoy the show, or shows, you're attending!

The whining here is incredible. The Stones are touring in 2013. Mick Taylor is joining them onstage for a few numbers throughout the tour. Hell, he even played with them at the warm-up gig! I'm nothing resembling a Taylor fan, but the fact that so many IORRs still feel the need to complain at this point is astounding. What is wrong with you? Seriously....take the time for some deep introspe

How is it that Taylorites assume that someone who doesn't particularly enjoy his playing is somehow less aware of aspects of musicianship like taste and feel and band dynamics, etc? The level of snobbery concerning Taylor worshipers is sad and hilarious. I prefer Ronnie's tone. I much prefer the band dynamic with Ronnie. I definitely prefer Ronnie's taste as a guitarist to Taylor's, but that d

Taylor is wildly overrated, as are his supposed contributions to the band. I think the Stones would have been every bit as brilliant from '69-'74 with Ronnie in the band as they were with Taylor. That said, I'm looking forward to hearing how they work Taylor into songs other than Rambler. It could be a catastrophic mess on any number of levels. I do hope that it goes well, though, and I
