...well...after reading that article in Rolling Stone...all of us...(ESPECIALLY ME)...that were hoping that they would at least come together and try and write an LP that makes up for "A Bigger Bang"...have Mick Taylor on it...and go out on a high note...can finally put that idea to bed... i honestly don't think they can sit down and write together...especially after the 'small dick&

QuoteMax'sKansasCity I wonder how many here who appear so emotional, and overly concerned, about getting Taylor more songs on this tour and spending so much of their time and effort posting so many words here, have ever spent a fraction of that time and effort either thinking about, or actually doing something, to help fight against REAL problems in this world. For instance..... Slavery still

QuoteWindyHorses I don't hate Mick Taylor. I do feel sorry for all of the many HUGE Mick Taylor fans who are upset and unhappy because Mick Taylor is only getting one song per concert on this tour. I wish, for their sakes, that it was different. But, it's not. I also think wishing and hoping that it will change is a waste of energy. Jagger has his guest list and Taylor gets one track just li

If Brian Jones was still alive they would probably only let him play on one song too... the fact that Mick Taylor only gets one song is silly...they just don't want to own up to the fact that HE was the reason that those LP's were so great...and then he left the band...to his detriment... the fact that the cackling idiot Gwen Stephani and that pretty boy redneck Keith Urban get just as much

Back in '89 at the show in Raleigh...one guy was dressed like Jesus carrying a cross around... Quotebv You find these people all over the world. They simply try to save our lives. Mick Jagger is the true devil and by entering the Oracle Arena we were all sinners according to him. If you go to London UK Hyde Park speakers corner on the North East side right next to Marble Arch on a Sunday

why do they have these idiots as special guests??...the chick from No Doubt and some contemporary Country bumpkin...yes he can play guitar...EVERYBODY IN NASHVILLE CAN PLAY GUITAR...big deal... yuck...as always...they make bad choices...they just don't have a clue... hell they let Mick Taylor play more back in 81 during the Kansas City show...and yes...he DOES add to the show...any idiot li

i just don't get it...in 1989 they were charging $28.50 for the bad seats...and now it's 20 times (sic) that...at this point...they won't live long enough to see all of the money they will make from these shows...i'd like to see them again...but i won't be able to... i hope for those that do that they at least switch up the setlist a little...but i doubt "Doom & Gloom" and "

even though they were playing better than they have in years a couple months ago...that barely merits what they charge to see them...with binoculars... i'm sick of these greedy bastards..if they are smart...they will try and record something with Mick Taylor and leave something as a lasting legacy that can be listened to for years to come instead of doing a few shows that few can afford...but

no one cares about him without the rest of the band...if they retire he will go the route of 'guest appearances' and awards shows doing medleys...the idea of trying to replace anyone in the band now is a joke...

maybe they should take away their credit cards and money and stick them in Edith Grove this winter...with no heat of course...perhaps that would inspire some new tunes...

maybe they should try for more than 4 days...honestly after 7-8 years this is a complete disappointment...when i listened to ABB the first time and the last notes of Infamy rang out i was like 'oh man i hope they don't go out like this'...and here we are with this trash... if Keith cared and was viable he would've done something since 2007 other than dress up like a pirate...my guess is this i

Sorry, I can't do that. It would sound to negative. But it's all in the context of the song; I can't blame Jagger voice, directly, here. Impossible to sing those songs, with those lyrics and "lif

Quotemtaylor QuoteGumbootCloggeroo Tickets are expensive and people are using that as the foundation of their argument that "true fans" aren't being catered to and therefore won't be going to the concert. But, wouldn't a "true fan" be willing to pay a crazy amount of money to see their beloved Stones? If someone paid a million dollars for one ticket, can't you say that per

there has to be some reason they don't utilise Ian MacLagan in the band...maybe he's a little taller than Mick or something... i thought the reason they didn't hire Wayne Perkins was because he wasn't English and they wanted an English guy in the band... so they settled for a southern hick on piano...and i can say that because i am from North Carolina...yes i am a hick...
