You Got the Silver- beautiful. Ronnie played it so well, and I love that they used a different arrangement from the ABB tour. If Keith is barely going to strum his guitar, I wish he'd pull out the trenchcoat and ciggie, and really give the vocal everything like he did on the Shine a Light movie. Forum: Tell Me
Keith has plenty in the tank from the stuff with Steve Jordan last year. One More Shot would have made a great Winos song. Another Stones album wouldn't just be a faux-Mick solo album like many here would have you believe. Forum: Tell Me
Gimme Shelter and BTMMR = awesome! Lisa's voice isn't quite what it used to be, however.
Waiting on a Friend sounds very nice, need a full video. I like the idea of having Lisa and Bernard doing the ooh-ooh-ooh at the start. Forum: Tell Me

I wanna pony
in all the pictures i've seen from immigrants coming from poland, i never saw one with a pony....
I had a pony !
and you loved that pony and that pony loved you!
Yes, it was a beautiful pony and I loved him
who leaves a pony country to come to a non-pony country??
Haha! Kudos to yo Forum: Tell Me
Laugh I Nearly Died is the best Stones song since Let It Loose.
The only song on ABB I don't like is OH No Not You Again. Infamy, LIND and It Won't Take Long, among others, are excellent. Forum: Tell Me
Dammit Chuck!
As someone who hasn't seen the Stones, and probably will never do so unless they come to Australia on this tour, I wouldn't mind hearing the warhorse-run at the end of the set EXCEPT: Start Me Up and Tumbling Dice. Both would get a nice, loud groan from me. Both suck badly in their Vegas-era renditions. Forum: Tell Me

I would love a new album with new material. The most fun would be with this lie up:
Jagger
Richards
Wood
Taylor
Wyman
Watts
+ Keys and MacLagan. Then you've got an album going! Forum: Tell Me
Slipping Away was great on the Licks tour. I'd love to see Infamy come back, and Little T&A (without the horns) would be nice. You Got the Silver is the highlight of the Shine a Light movie.
How about a mini-Keith/Ronnie set of You Got the Silver (Keith vox, Ronnie slide) and Sleep Tonight (Keith vox/keys, Ronnie drums)???
It Would be great if he dusted off How Can I Stop, it would ac Forum: Tell Me
I'd love a new album. It's a shame Doom & Gloom was wasted on GRRR. It would have made a great lead single. I didn't like One More Shot at first, but now I like it a lot, and I'm sure Keith and Steve Jordan have plenty of groovy tracks in the can from their sessions last year. Mick says he has plenty of tracks, and Ronnie's last album was great - get him involved!
I love ABB, so I'd settle Forum: Tell Me
I quite enjoyed that, actually. Went in with an open mind, she sang well, knew the words and Ronnie's licks really led the way. Very nice version. Some nice interaction with Mick as well. Gets a from me. Forum: Tell Me
Gimme Shelter is #1, that's just a fact.
The only others that come close are: Sway, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Moonlight Mile, Sweet Virginia, Let It Loose, Soul Survivor. Laugh I Nearly Died is close. Forum: Tell Me
A Bigger Bang is a great album, so I really hope they do another one. Would love some more tracks in the vein of Infamy, Laugh I Nearly Died, It Won't Take Long, and Dangerous Beauty. Just need to get Ronnie involved in song writing and even a lead vocal. Get Bobby on a few tracks as well. Forum: Tell Me
Someone better tell Mick that no one here would even consider paying more than $250 for a ticket. That of course means, no tour. I'd love for it to happen, even if it means stadiums, but they would never get away with charging $600 in Australia.
Michael Gudinski is a canny character. I guarantee you he wants them to play the Hanging Rock venue in Victoria, about 90 minutes outside of Melbourn Forum: Tell Me
I wish Infamy could have become Keith's new Happy. That song is so great, it should be his new staple. Slipping Away, How Can I Stop, All About You and Thru & Thru should be rotated as a ballad. But BTMMR has been very good so far on this tour (including last year), but Happy blows. Forum: Tell Me
All Down the Line, in place of Respectable.
I think we can pencil in the rest of the LA set from here on in. I hope Keith did backing vocals on Dead Flowers like he did on the PPV version in December. Forum: Tell Me
That pic of Ronnie and Keith is brilliant! Thanks for posting.
I predict two setlist changes:
Factory Girl --> I Heard it Through the Grapevine
Respectable --> She's So Cold Forum: Tell Me
Gimme Shelter is fantastic! Keith absolutely belted it out of the park with the solo.
Emotional Rescue is great for the first time ever, I hope it sticks around.
I'm begging, can someone PLEASE turn off Lisa's mic during BTMMR? She drowns out Keith during every chorus and I hate it. Keith is singing very well, just like the shows last year, and I want to hear him dammit. Forum: Tell Me
