Quotesixthstone13 So happy to hear Mick Taylor playing with the stones! Unfortunately my sixteen year old and I were not able to see them on Monday 5/20/13 at the Staple center. Not being able to afford tickets we took a chance on buying tickets on the street at the Staple center. I found a fellow who over heard me say that I just wanted my son and I to get in without paying an arm and a leg. He

Quotewarmthofthesun First time poster..Thanks for inviting me. Couple of questions.#1 is I have 85.00 tickets. I printed out the paper from Ticketmaster and I know the about getting in line to get my tickets. Section: Vouch, Row GA9, seats 139-140, Gimme Shelter tickets.Does it matter if I get in line early at will call to get better seats or it doesn't matter. Question #2 is I know cell phones a

QuoteBliss If you want to be really happy, you need to take it a giant step further - somehow manage to see the beauty and value in the RS's performance that they hadn't yet achieved when they were younger. Surely half a century of growing, living, suffering and loss, even for these jaded multi-millionaires, has added some new richness and depth and patina to their music. If you could somehow let

QuoteGerda Thanks for all the great reports of the California shows, they definitely raised my spirit after all that doom and gloom over ticket pricing etc. I wish I could be there. Can't wait for London 6th July, and I don't regret I was one of the crazy ones who bought the expensive hospitality ticket on presale , although I really don't need either a massage or a tattoo on this occasion. Quotecrumbling_mice Whether the shows are sold out or not is irrelevant, those who want to see them will go and those who don;t won't. THose who go to the shows will all say it was amazing and those who don;t will moan about ticket prices. Of course we would all like the tickets to be £55 but then there would be the nightmare of fans not being able to go due to demand - like the old days.

QuoteDoxa QuoteFrankM Holy moly. If some people here added up all the time they spent whining and griping about ticket prices they could spend that time working a part time job and could afford plenty of tickets. Problem solved. Wow! I'd like to give you a medal for a perfect Rolling Stones fan AD 2013. I always wonder what sort of people Jagger has in his mind when he is doing his business dec

QuoteBliss New poster, hello from Rome, from a fan who cannot possibly attend the concerts and is still excited to hear all about them and see the footage when it's posted. First off, if you scroll down, you will see there is a thread specifically created to contain any and all complaints related to the Stones. I think this thread will feel quite comfortable among the litany of complaints post

Best wishes to the Rolling Stones on the start of the tour, hopefully it's rockin and rollin and the empty seats are few and far between. Hopefully they come to the Southeast U.S. sometime soon. Good luck to all who are going tonight and all those who will get to see them this time around, have a great time and enjoy the show.

Lol, new poster EG comes out with guns ablazin. While I tend to share his viewpoint about the negativity, I don't think firing away will do much to change their (the negative posters) outlook, especially on the ticket prices. The bigger nuisance to me is that those spewing the negative comments seem to think that their opinions are the only ones that count and they can't understand why everyone e

And don't forget... not only are The Rolling Stones the greatest rock n' roll band in the world, but their fans are the greatest rock n' roll fans in the world. Let 'em know! The Stones and their casual fans are the greatest. The same can't be said for far too many of their hardcore fans. They bitch and moan too damn much. Lol, can'

I find it offensive as well, that I'm some "sheep" for paying the high ticket price. I don't understand why some people pay thousands of dollars for artwork that sits on a wall. They must really admire it. I don't understand why people, with k

QuoteGrison Once again. I agree with both of you. Still I hope my common knowledge in English gives me the grace to explain this issue in the best way. So many people here are argueing about real fans and not real fans. But is a real fan only real when he is whining that Mick Taylor doesn't play guitar like in 73 and that Ronnie is not the best play and at last he's the poorest but the most re

I am still hoping that the Rolling Stones will play some dates in the Southeast this year. Do I want to pay the high ticket prices, of course not. I don't however, feel the need to complain about it over and over as some do. I do have a choice whether or not to buy the ticket, and regardless of the show being sold out or not, if I'm able to go, I have no doubt that I will enjoy it. I apologize fo
