Quoteheadly123 BV you should have gone to the game last night. You would have enjoyed it. I watched the hockey game Chicago @ Boston live on TV and I must say it was a great game and I would not have missed it. Don't have a clue about baseball, but it was on the screen next to my hockey game...

Well there is nothing new about this - George Orwell wrote the book about it in 1949 : Nigthteen-Eighy-Four - a Big Brother controlled life... They have my left four and right four and thumbs scanned and printed every time I enter the US, they know where I live, where I go, and yet they ask me what is the purpose of the visit every time. But when I am telling them I am coming to see The St

This is for meeting up before the show: The Holiday Inn 15 minutes walking away (see map below), across the parking, has got a large sports bar, so anyone staying there don't need to walk far. Then later on before show time say 5pm and on I would recommend this place: There is a large catering area, more like a eating and drinking center, right in the center of the sports complex called Xf

I am surprised that this thread is still on top of all the others. It does not even need to be a sticky... So we do have Mick Taylor on the stage a lot. Is there more to ask for? Are we simply greedy?

I did not vote for Boston-2. I did not even pay attention to the vote. So when Mick said "Memory Motel" it was a great, great surprise for me. It is not important with surprises for me, like I do know some who do not read IORR at all during tours, but still there is nothing like having a song you love so much without having any worries about getting it! So even if I have read this threa

They will never stop touring. But they will take more breaks, lomnger breaks, and less shows between the breaks. Comes with age. Not rocket science really. They used to do 100+ shows per tour. You can't do that with a bunch of grandchildren and lots of family activities. Also they need to do what any other person age 65++ do - some resting. Expect a break of some time, then more arena shows,

I am sure this is well known for all the locals, I am just adding this as seen from a "tourist" part of view... I have been walking around in the Philly center city and sports complex area for some hours. It takes a little more than one hour from the center city to the venue if you walk, just follow Broad street all the way, but there are buses and underground too of course. The are

It has been up there for quite a while, and it is probably printed in the tour programme as well. Still some are confused about who is actully in this "50 and counting" band. As you see Matt Clifford is part of the band, like Mick Taylor. They are not guests, but part of the band. Also please note the signifinance of the order of listing, a mix of importance and alphabetic order...

These are paparazzi photos. These guys do not have any respect. They would stick a camera through the toilet door if they could. I would never publish a photo if I knew it was taken at a time when the person did not know or did not want the picture to be taken. And by the way, it takes a ral paparazzi flash to get through the shaded windows, no amateur fan cameras does that...

Mick said it would be a long show... So I did believe him... Then he said they would probably run into the 3rd overtime period... Haha!!! Mick is following the Ice Hockey games and he did know that game number one in Chicago went into the 5th longest ever game in a final, way into 3rd overtime. I watched almost two overtime periods when I was back at my hotel on Wednesday, after the show. No Bost

This is why the $85 tickets are so great: The pit takes approx 400 people. Then it is full. They sell VIP packages at $1500 each. Some places like LA people are stacked with cash so there were many VIP's. But most places there are 50 or so VIP's only. The rest goes to the $85 buyers through the lottery. Most people in the pit are fans paying $85! PS. Some people think the pit is only h

You don't need a meteorologist to know that it is raining a lot in UK. UK is the only place I know where you can buy umbrellas in every tube station. There is a reason for that. Well in Bergen Norway everybody do own and carry an umbrella at all times, that is different, because it is rainikng at all times on and of, but UK is pretty close, on the same zone of the North Sea weather I think.

Every final bow is the same. Mick is totally wasted. I do know the feeling when you have just finished a half marathon run in approx two hours on time and you made it great, and you timed your energy right. Spending the last bit of energy on Satisfaction. Mick does his final bows on Ronnie side. He is still a zombie from his energy boost on Satisfaction. He takes the bow out of routine but hi

So we should fire Keith and get some studio monkey to replace him? I am sure that would fill up stadiums and make people happy. There are hundreds of guitar players who can cover Keith Richards but there are nobody with his heart and soul. He can not be replaced. After fifty years I think it is about time people face the facts. One love - and gold rings on you all.

I was in the pit and started watching the show front row Ronnie side. When you are up front you see every single detail, every eye contact between each and every band member, and you have your own sound from the speakers that are in front of the stage. That sound is for sure not the same as you get in the other parts of the arena. Gary Clark tried to access the pit my side but was gently deni
