Quotedcba QuoteSilver Dagger Mick's been camping. You can say that again!!! He once said he bought a castle in the Val de Loire cos he camped there as a teenager. Good thing he never camped in the Bois de Boulogne... Joke of the day.

Quotebv So there will be a tent in the backstage area. I will be camping frontstage somewhere. Hopefully it will not rain as much as we get today in Norway. My PC is not waterproof! No you won't bv - they haven't allowed that since the early 80s. You can stay up all night in the field but if you want to put up a tent you'll have to move into one of the neighbouring fields. And those ones start

Both Macca and Springsteen last year gave heroically long performances at Hyde Park and I fully expect the Stones to do the same. The big questions are 'will they roll out Bill' and 'how many songs will Mick Taylor get given'. I have a good feeling that Taylor will play at least 4 songs.

What we need round here is something to lighten the mood in the days between shows, a "POST OF THE YEAR THREAD". A post delivered in a humorous vein is in my book deserving

It's one of th best years for a very long time for gigs in the UK and especially London. Are you going to see Elvis on June 6th show Silver Dagger? I'll be there 5th row. So what other songs would we love to see Mick Taylor play on. Realistically I'd love to see him play on Gimme Shelter, Wild Horses and Brown Sugar. Dreaming, I'd love them to put Carol, Little Queenie, Silver Train and Time Waits For No One in the set.

Hey Rodaxe, keep the good work. I never heard of the She's A Rainbow promo. It's hard to believe that a promo could be lost. Surely it would have been filmed by Peter Whitehead. Anyone know anything about this. The films I'd most like to see are the two Top of The Pops performances in 71 -Wild Horses and Bitch, I believe, and the 1968 NME Poll Winners Concert. Here's a list of their Top of

God, they're dropping like flies and no pun intended because he was a Spider. Alvin Lee, Kevin Ayers, Ray Manzarek and now Trevor Bolder. All in bands that I dug in my formative years. Hope ya meet up with Mick Ronson Trev. Maybe he's the Starman waiting in the sky. RIP. This one's for you.

Has this been released on CD, vinyl or download format? I know it was on the Four Flicks DVD set??? Anyway, a nice excursion into lounge land that like maradona above noted, worked well at theatre level but not in the big stadiums. I guess Keith unearthed it in memory of his old man.

Just got the news about last night's set list here in the UK where it's 9.30am. Incredible list of songs. If it came off then I'd say this was probably the best set list featured in a concert since 72/73. Just look what we got Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler, Sway, Can't You Hear me Knocking and Satisfaction with Mick Taylor, and also Far Away Eyes, All Down The Line, You Got The Silver....I

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Yes - "Rocks Off" (studio) comes close to being my favorite Stones track ever. There are many, but it is all perfect here: the horns, the tricky arrangement. But it has never IMO worked on stage. This is one cut that could have drastically benefited from a key change. the reason the lead vocal works so well in studio is that Jagger manages to infuse the son
