I am looking for Stones Anniversary Shows DVDs - Does anyone have copies of these shows available to sell? I am particularly interested in the 2 London shows and the Newark Prudential Center 15th December 2012 show. Although there are several download posts for some of these shows on IORR, I am not able to download due to slow internet connection. I would appreciate any info on this.

I have been playing Stones albums every day starting with the early London albums since July 1 - it's an all month celebration for me - so much music to play and the bootlegs too Today I am playing '40 Licks' - listening to the first few albums gives me a real appreciation of how good they really were even in the early 60s.

The band looks pretty good for 272 - the timeless rockers that they are I think it would have been cool if they could have played a few songs at the Marquee to celebrate the occasion I played some 'Forty Licks' today in honor of the band Happy 50th Anniversary to the World's Greatest Rock N Roll band!

Is July 12th the date that the Stones actually formed the band or released their first record? Does anyone have the details on this? By the way, don't forget Mick's birthday on July 26th.

Great idea thewatchman! I have wanted to see a Stones blues album also - and get a few of the blues legends to collaborate on some of the songs (Chuck Berry, Taj Mahal, etc.) Mick,Keith take note - it would be a great album - a classic

I think that it would be great to celebrate the 50th Anniversary with an all blues album, maybe a 2 disc package - after all, that is the Stones true roots and where it all started. It would also be cool to have some of the old blues legends (Clapton, Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy, etc.) play on some of the tracks if they could get some of them to contribute. Add some classic blues covers combined with

Does anyone have a copy of this great show - Atlantic City '89 "Deluxe Edition" **NEW UPGRADE** Live in Atlantic City, NJ? I would like to purchase this DVD or possibly trade with someone. I did own a copy of this show but the DVD has some glitches and does not play properly now. I know that there are sources out there on IORR for download (Keessie's post), but the files are too large

The link from EBay is: I always hesitate to purchase a Stones documentary because of so many amateur or poor quality DVDs out there. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen it or can rate it - good or bad.

Yes, great job, Ronnie! Just played the CD and I think it is Ronnie's greatest solo effort to date and possibly one of the best albums of the year IMO. Some good rockers nicely mixed in with some mellow numbers as well. A few of the songs remind me of Stones tunes and a couple even sound like Keith Richards type numbers. Thing About You definitely my fav track - Lucky Man, I Gotta See, 100% also

I love the new album, Mojo - some real rockers on this one, one of the best I have heard from TP IMO. Does anyone know of any websites to download TP audio or video shows from this tour?

Looks like an excellent show featuring some of the all time great guitarists. Does anyone know how to convert Flac files to MP3? I normally burn my music files to CD in mp3 format.

Voodoo Lounge is my Fav. IMO some of their best rockers from the past 20 years on this album such as Love is Strong, You Got Me Rockin - Classic Stones. I am also fond of Steel Wheels which was a resurgence for the Stones after the 80s dry spell. I just listened to this album recently and forgot how good these songs were. Mixed Emotions - excellent single. I think that the last couple of albums

Glad to hear about the Bachman and Turner comeback. I was a big fan of BTO in the late seventies. Looking forward to hearing their new album.

QuoteDandelionPowderman The two new songs off Ronnie's new album are fantastic. That's today, and that says it all. He did a good 2005/2006 tour as well. People really are forgetting quickly - it was Keith who had a bad tour, not Ronnie. Although he had some bad tours between 1994 and 2003, he's back again now, imo. Listen to Sweetness, as pointed out in another thread here, it should be renam

Hope you are having a great Birthday Ronnie! Maybe a little less partying than previous years. Rock on with the Stones for many more years. I just picked up a couple of Ronnie's early solo albums - I've Got My Own Album to Do and Gimme Some Neck - Great music - He really did have some good solo stuff over the years. Does anyone know when his new album will be released?

I received the Get Your Yas Yas Out box set for Christmas and was impressed with the quality of the DVD disc. I thought that the picture was very good considering it was from 40 years ago which I thought would have been grainy like videos from that era. My question is: Does anyone know if the full Madison Square Garden show is available in any video form? I would love to obtain a copy of that.

Bottom line - the Stones have shown a longevity far behind what anyone including me would have expected. Over the course of the past 20 years, the Stones have evolved into more than just a great Rock N Roll band. Going to a Stones show is an experience not to be forgotten with every show/tour getting bigger and better. And although the music has changed over the years, I feel that each new album

It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years now since the Steel Wheels tour began in Sept. 1989. That tour was most memorable for me because it was my first live Stones show even though I have been a fan now for 40 years. I was able to get very good floor seats at the last minute from a seller who advertised 2 tickets available in the newspaper. (at $50 it was a bargain back then) Does anyone
