The Doors were one of the greatest bands ever, often they were reduced to their lead singer. So: Deep respct to Ray Manzarek, who was a great part of the Doors' magic.

Quotebeepee2 [ "She should have done this", "she should have done that", "i would have preferred"... she has probably spent millions on hiring and having the best experts from the planet to advise her and lay all the options on the table, so if she went for having both her breasts removed, both can assume it's wasn't just for fun. To the point. She deserves respec

Quotebv Some do not have any interest in sex as they get older, others do not have interest in changes, some do not have internet or smartphones, and some do not like the Stones anymore. Things change with age. But still there are lots of people who do have sex, smartphones and enjoy the Stones in 2013! People who post numerous threads about high ticket prices, dislike of the Stones, dislike o

There will certainly be a live album with one or two duets, but certainly not with more artists who would have to be paid for their contribution.

Quotecaschimann DONT´t read the live comments. It´s a drag. It is occupied mostly by terrible complainers. The muppets show had two old men - waldorf & stadler - on the balcony. IORR seems to have thousand of thousands. 1. They hate any setlits of any show! 2. They hat any guest on any show! 3. They hate any songchange on any setlist. 4. They hate the audience in the venues on t

As much as I enjoy the current clips I have to admit that I am not so thrilled about the Stones anymore. I am glad that they finish on such a powerful level though.

Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards surely does not mind Taylor saying that, from a technical and melodical point of view Taylor's remark is common sense.

In 1989 Keith Richards and Charlie Watts were in better shape, but the sound maybe better at the moment. Two things about the recent shows surprised me: Ronnie Wood plays better than in the last twenty years, and Mick Taylor found back into the Stones fastly.

This music has something hypnotizing, it is wild, exotic. I hardly listen to it, but Brian Jones was visionary in this case since he recorded it 20 years before the World music boom. It is much sexier than the horrible Wingless Angels album which sounded like Boney fu....g M on weed.

QuoteGlammy All his cymbals do sound like shit in my opinion. He uses china cymbals as a crash, thin ride cymbals (which are usually used in jazz combos) while he plays rock, and now he doesn't even play a proper ride cymbal anymore but uses a crash cymbal for that matter. All these odd choices doesn't make him sound better. Watching him play makes me sick. He's stiff, there is no swing or groove

Often I wonder why they dislike each other so much. The problems in the eighties were easy to explain. Two men with huge egos had quarreled about music, women and money for twenty years. But they found back on the path and developed a strategy to gain glory and hundreds of millon dollars together and to take timeouts from each other. Yet when one watches them hugging each other for Scorcese's cam

They will never play any songs from the SG/Exile reissues. Huge parts of the audience have never heard the songs. And the Stones can choose out of so many songs over the decades.
