Well there is concert karma, my buddy in DC owns a company and called in some chips from a client and got 2 free club level tickets. So I am going, and all I have to pay for is my plane ticket. So flying from Detroit to DC for $140 round trip.

stonehearted you and I are kindred spirits, that is exactly what I was listening to in the 80s, and started discovering the Blues! Collecting every record I could find of Blues. And add to that The Who.

Yeah I think some of the stuff on Pussycats is brilliant. His version of Subterranean Homesick Blues is wickedly fun shit. Love it.

Quotekeefriffhard4life Quotewhitem8 Really can't get past the vocals. Sounds like his hair band approach to singing, just not enough emotion. The music is ok. But yeah, sorry to say, sounds like poodle rock to me as well. the guy has had 5 vocal surgeries, what do you want him to do. That isn't what I mean by can't get passed his voice. It is that generic high range shrieking 80's hair band app

This will be great, especially for us collectors. I have all his CDs, and I love Nilsson but I also admit not all his stuff shines. But hey, he always could fall on his voice, even on his hard knocks album Pussycats. This is a must have for me.

Yeah but two of the songs of Got Live aren't even live even live! Fake audiance. The Boot from the 67 tour in Hawaii is way better, and authentic.

Ya Yas! Ladies and Gentlemen is great, but the sound sucks! And the camera work sucks. Love the music though. Sonically Live in Texas is amazing. And the cameras actually focus in on other members than just Jagger! GREAT Release and sounds amazing in DTS surround sound.

One of my favorite Stones soul ballads, and she butchers it. Ok, I was willing to give her a chance, and was mildly optimistic with the opening salvo, but it goes wrong very fast. She just can't handle the subtleties of the song. She blows every line as if she has to prove she is a strong singer, and in the process frequently drops the key and the song into the dirt. Katy, your turn is up and let

Quotepaulywaul Quotewhitem8 pauly, sorry one more time I didn't get it after you wrote "this has only been explained a thousand times..." Thanks dude. I don't speak from experience, because (a) I'm not as yet going to any of the States' shows, and (b) haven't bought any of these $85 tickets ........ so I was merely reiterating what must have been covered a thousand times already in co

Yeah, I really don't think they were released yet. We were on with four different computers and nothing. Even now when you try to buy the 150 dollar tickets, and 250 dollar tickets you can select them from the drop down menu, but then says none are available. Even if I put in just 1 ticket. The only ones that seem to be available are the VIP and 600 dollar tickets. Ridiculous.

Have been trying to get 85 dollar seats in DC, but none on sale yet. Or they were sold out, but we logged on as soon as tickets went on sale for both the presale and regular sale. Tried the 45 miniute trick too, but nothing. Now only the 600 dollar seats are available. crazy.

I have'nt been to any of the shows, but from the PPV and clips that have been posted. Midnight Rambler with Mick T. Fantastic, and the song has become thrilling again.

Quotedrbryant I saw them at Ozzfest Japan last night. Got there in time to catch Tool, and then Sabbath. Huge crowd, great show. How was Ozzie. I read a review of the show in Melbourne. It said he was fantastic on the first four songs, then he lost the plot. Was out of time, seemed to struggle with the lyrics. Then a long drum solo and he came back and was better.

Seems like perhaps where Jagger got the inspiration for Far Away Eyes, the dialog aspects of the song.

To have two songs in the no. 1 spot, and one of them isn't even written by the Stones. Seems very strange.

I met Mick Taylor and smoked a joint with him at a bar called Sully's in Dearborn Michigan, was in-between sets of him and his band. Met Ronnie at a meet and greet where he was signing his first book. He signed the cover of Lacerated for me.

Love You Live was my second Stone's album. I didn't know some of the stuff on it, well most of it! And it was thrilling when I first heard it. Very loud album, raunchy, and full of swagger. I do think a few of the songs aren't done very well, like Sympathy, but for the most part I like it. I especially love the opening and the If you Can't Rock Me/Get Off My Cloud melody. And of course, side thr

I have listened to a lot of the Oakland and San Jose shows and they don't sound out of tune! They are actually playing very well. Now also, the recording quality is shit, so you can't expect some steller sonic experience, but the root is there, and it sound damn good to me.

Actually, this is quite insulting coming from Keith. Again, just shows a total lack of connection to reality. And he just wants to come across as the regular Joe everyman to the fans. But in reality he knows darn well what the tickets are costing and he signed off on it. He should just stop commenting on things unless he is honest. Now he has given the impression that Mick Taylor was going to be

Great to see some guest stars who are relevant to The Rolling Stones. Tom Waits, and now John Fogerty and Bonnie Raitt! Nice set list and very happy to see Taylor on Satisfaction! Now that is a celebration.

Classic Bowie. The Bowie we love. The abstract, disturbing and contemplative Bowie. The return of the thin white duke.
