I'm still digging Taylor's soloing on Sway. Close your eyes and it could almost be 1973 again, ha-ha. By the sounds of it, his technique has changed very little in the last 40 years. I really enjoy his fluid, classical-like lines. His style has a very continental feel to it. He doesn't sound bluesy, at all.

Not funny, at all. Who is he, anyway? Never heard of him.

I hate the way Sway just ends so prematurely. I know they can't fix the studio recording, but they could extend for live renditions, surely? Taylor's brief soloing at the end is beyond awesome.

Hot, sticky and miserable here in Toronto. I'm gasping for a few cold cans of beer, but the fridge is bare and cannot be arsed to venture outside in this heat.

Quotekowalski @ronniewood Here's my backstage guitar (and shoes!) ~ I'm relaxing here for now reading and answering your tweets! Oh, Ronnie is so lame these days! What happened to necking four pints of Guinness and slamming back the double vodkas, eh?

Oh, this is a too sad. The Doors were the soundtrack to my late teenage years. Manzarek was a terrific musician and, in my opinion, the sound of The Doors. He was always so incredibly insightful when interviewed. He always looked pretty healthy, too. He was born, I think, in 1939, so was a few years older than most of his contemporaries. Rest in peace, Ray Manzarek.

I've watched the clip again just now and am wondering if Grohl got a little lost during his solo. It starts off tremendously, but then he seems to get stuck on the same few notes. He really takes the song to another level - it's been atrocious at times on recent tours - but I wonder if he lost his way a little with all the excitement?

Keith seems to get distracted by Lisa during Gimme Shelter. Lord knows how he'll react to Fergie gyrating against him!

The above-list is pretty rock-centric, but I listen to and enjoy other genres such as soul, R&B (old a

Terrific rendition of Bitch. Mick full of enthusiasm, Keith soloing OK, and Grohl rocking-out most appropriately. This is full-throttle rock n' roll, right here!

I really do wonder about the bashing of Dave Grohl, here, I cannot help but assume that any here know little of Foo Fighters and the success Grohl has achieved since Nirvana and Cobain's suicide. He's a respectable songwriter and musician and held in high regard. He went from being a drummer - who Cobain didn't rate, reportedly - to lead-singer and showman with the stadium-filling Foo Fighters. H

Actually, Keith seem to be playing a little more during this latest performance - which is a good thing, of course - but the band seem tighter in 2003. The performance is a little more polished, though there is still a cock-up or two.

Rocks Off was performed terrifically at the first Twickenham show during the Licks Tour, but this latest rendition is so sluggish and sloppy. Why is being performed at half-speed?

Despite their staggering longevity and continuing popularity, the Stones have never been the No.1 act in their field. There has always been someone bigger in terms of general popularity and sales. In the 60's it was the Beatles, in the 70's it was Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and in the 80's it was Madonna and Michael Jackson. In the U.K. they reached their sales peak as early as 1965. Their biggest s

Great rendition of It's All Over Now. It's also nice to see and hear Keith handling the solo again. I recall Ronnie on lead-duty during the London shows last year.

Only once. It was during the first of the 2007 02 Arena shows in London. I dozed off shortly after the Stones hit the stage and woke abruptly during Keith's opening chords to Can't You Hear Me Knocking.

I'm on the fence a little. I like some of the No Doubt tunes and a few of her solo singles were OK, generally. I'm Just A Girl, Don't Speak and What You Waiting For? are all decent pop releases, IMO.
