Its greatness is parallel to its simplicity. A great great song without overproduction and without technical skills, and withouth virtuoso things as well. Simply marvellous. They have never made a song this simple and this great since then

Maybe it is the right time to stop. I do not want this people to play the warhorses again and again and again............ if they are not productive as an active band (i mean a new album of new songs) is better to stop and to enjoy the legacy

There is an improvement in Keith's solo over the SAL one, included the walk around the stage. But it has worsened over the years.....such a pity But he walks very nice around stage!!

QuoteJumpinJackOLantern QuoteNo Expectations Back in the day of vinyl bands only needed 8-10 great songs. Average album was probably 40-45 minutes long. Now with the advent of CD's it takes more songs to fill the media. Bob Dylan's latest has ten songs on it. That would be the perfect number for the Stones final album. It is true; but it is also true that there are songs of 6, 7 and 13 minute

QuoteBlueranger Keith isn't a Bowie fan, though Jagger clearly admires him. Bowie has at least made three Stones-sounding songs: Watch That Man Diamond Dogs Rebel Rebel The guitars are very Keith-like on those songs. The jeangenie too

And frankly, if many of their own fans can't appreciate the wonderful BRIDGES TO BABYLON (their best post-UC work imo), why bother? I am on record, under oath, as liking Bridges to Babylon A LOT! Not only do I like that album, but I also love the vibe of the time, th

Hand of fate................ signature KR's riffing got me hooked since the very first time I returned the B&B album because i thought it was a great hits compilation. I changed it for the Hot Tuna's Final Vinyl. But the Hot Stuff groove, the memory motelbeauty and Hand of fate strength remained inside me until i became a total RS fan some months later. Of course i got the B&B album a

A live band must fight for the new stuff, not only warhorses. Actually it is a nostalgic act, which is fine because of the anicersary, but for the last ABB tour i saw in Barcelona in 2007

The work he did with the songs previously played by Taylor in the TOTA tour was awsome. In 1978 the set list was not so for virtuoso. Anyway, i love Ronnie too much, i like his style and his solo works. His guitars in Dirty Work an SW were wonderful too
