QuoteOneHit That video of CYHMK is unbelievable. Great sound, good camera work and awesome performance. I wonder what Mick said to Keith at 7:08 - it didn't seem nasty/todger-related. Take a bow, MT, just fantastic. My only wish is that they'd bring Bobby into the centre of the stage! Sway is very good also, I'd love the outro solo to be even longer! Great performance, still my favourite guita

In my 30 years of attending concerts, the only time my ears truly hurt was during The Who's Quadrophenia concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim (then known as the Arrowhead Pond) way back in 1996...was near the front and it was just too loud. Had ringing similar to yours for a couple of days, but then it went away. As others have advised, see a doc this week if you can if it doesn't get better.

Quotemickschix OK, so I just broke down and bought an awesome seat for Boston...and here's the big question. Do you all think that the level they're playing at now, complete w/ 4 Mick Taylor songs, will stay this way, if not improve even more...or, will they get lazy? Will they cut MT down to 2 songs again? I bought that ticket based on reviews from that last incredible show! What do you think?

Never been a big fan of the studio version of GOMC...too sing-songy to my ears. The live versions from 66-67, however, are a different story - faster and more rockin' - great stuff!

Much like Bruce and Dylan (plus McCartney and a few others), they would have had to establish the precedent years ago...it's not something they can just do overnight. They chose a safe path and decided not to challenge their audiences ever since '89 and with all subsequent tours.

QuoteJumpinJackOLantern QuoteJah Paul QuoteJumpinJackOLantern QuoteThru and Thru Now there's a setlist I'd pay big bucks to hear them play! And to think it could be so easily done. Not so easily. But it could be done, right? For it to be done now, the band would have needed to have a different approach to their setlists beginning way back in '89 and on each subsequent tour...instead, the

QuoteDonkey Girl Scout Quotedmay These concerts are long? Bullshit. For the Stones ticket price(s), a close to three hour (or longer on a good day) show like Springsteen does is what we should be getting. Springsteen and the E-Street Band ain't that much younger than the Stones. And, for that matter, McCartney is a contemporary of the Stones age wise and look at how many songs he does for his sho

I remember waiting in line for 5 hours at the local "Music Plus" before finally scoring tickets. During that time, they sold out the orignally scheduled shows at the L.A. Coliseum and ended up adding one or two more. Them were the days!

Quotegripweed Quotewhitem8 For me I am more excited he added Hi Hi Hi! Great song! Hope Rusty is playing some vicious slide on it. And yes, Being the Bennefit for Mr. Kite is very interesting! But I wish he would have done Happiness is a Warm Gun instead! Happiness has always been one of my favorite John songs (his too I believe), but I would bet a 2013 Stones ticket he would never play tha

You miss your mates. You've been playing those for years. Now if he did I Need You, that would be good. He's playing 37-38 songs for almost 3 hours. As far as I'm concerned, he's got licence to play anything he wants

Are you asking for donations?? Hate to break it to you, but a lot of folks are in the same financial boat these days...kids or not. It's going to be very different for the next generation of fans, if there is an active one at all. Depending on our ages, many of us here have been fortunate enough to see the band in concert multiple times over the past ten, twenty, thirty, forty or fifty years

Quoteuhbuhgullayew QuoteHairball For the record, Fleetwood Mac used the USC Marching band for Tusk, not UCLA. Trivial fact maybe, but not when you consider the massive rivalry between the two schools. I'd say that UCLA won this battle by playing with the Stones (albeit 35 years later). GO UCLA! They didn't play WITH The Stones. Close enough...deal with it! Go Bruins! Go Stones

My cousin and aunt were huge Elvis fans, seeing him many times throughout the '70s. My cousin, now 65, also saw The Beatles...twice! Another cousin saw the Stones at the Swing Auditorium in '64, then The Beatles a couple of months later.

Good to see Emotional Rescue in there. Still don't understand having guests just for the sake of having them, but what can you do...guess Mick feels it's necessary to keep the younger crowd interested.
