QuoteCaledonianGonzo ^ Those ultra-pricey yurts are usually offsite in fields owned by other farmers, unaffiliated to Glastonbury and a 20 odd minute walk away. Hopefully they'll put Mick Taylor up in the tipi field where we are. The Master Musicians of Joujouka were there the last time. The TiPi field always looks a really cool place to be...we're not far from that this year, up in Worthy

Attending music gigs is a risk to your hearing, if you are concerned about your hearing, don;t go, but to even consider taking legal action is just plain ridiculous, it would only take one succesful law suit and then that would be the end of live shows where music is played as it should be - loud. I've been to literraly hundreds of rock concerts, and stood very closs to the stacks that would tow

Some of the Yurts at Glasto cost £3000 for the weekend! THey are very nice though and are fully furnished in Morrocan style etc, in their own field with lots of space around them and security to get in and out. There are cheapers ones but my guess is Mr Jagger will be in the better ones. Still, I;m going to spend a few hours tracking him down just to show him my 'Who The @#$%& IS Mick Jagger'

But they do have a semi circular enclosure in front of the stage which they let a certain amount of people into. The big problem will be that it will fill up early for Primal Scream and then the rest of the main fi

Too Rude is the only decent track on the album...hate it otherwise, the drum sounds and guitars, in fact the whole mix is just repugnant. A real low point only equalled by ABB.

That is truly breathtaking...I so hope they keep this in the set list. Mr Jagger, if you are reading this please use Mick Taylor more, it will go down as the tour to end all tours and it would be a fitting tribute to The Rolling Stones - The Greatest Rock n Roll band in the world. We don;t need special guests on guitars, just unleash Taylor and let it rock!

I'm waiting to hear if they did the full CYHMK - ie. with the ending. If so then those who were there last night were truly blessed.

QuoteMax'sKansasCity Quotecrumbling_mice I don't think there is one Stones fan who would see last night's set list and Taylor involvement as anything other than a huge success. Forget the Taylor V Ronnie arguments, they are irrelevant. Ronnie doesn't have a big ego and is happy to play along with anyone, Taylor just loves being in the band again and Keith is happy to lay that backing down. All

Exactly, we do not need guests, especially guests who play guitars. We have Mick Taylor waiting in the wings for gods sake. He's a Stone and he should begin that stage as much as possible. There is no guest the fans want to see more than him, and if you need a way of selling tickets he's your man!

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotecrumbling_mice The thing that really irks me is that you would be hard pushed to find a Stones fan who would prefer to see Dave Grohl playing the solo on Bitch in place of Mick Taylor. Yet here we have a situation where Taylor (one of the world's best rock lead players) is standing in the wings watching Dave Grohl play on a song that he recorded with the band. Now if playing

Yes, I was meaning the two guitar assault via Taylor and Keith. On reflection, I'm probably letting this Taylor thing sour my judgement of what has so far been a great tour. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that public pressure gets to Jagger and they let him on for 3 or 4 songs. Maybe it's in the contract that he plays more when they get to the UK, maybe not. There have been some hits and m

Dave Grohl is tiresome...all that flapping about for very little musically and what he does play is not suited to Bitch. I wasn't aware of his comments about Keith but if that's the case why the @#$%& did they let him be last night's special pest? Let's face it Grohl will turn up to the opening of a super market if invited so not such a big attraction. Hopefully once the Stones get out of Ca

It was great to hear it, but thought Keith messed up the opening chord, just seemed to get the suspended hammer on the wrong way round....but all in all it was good. Especially after the forty licks recorded version where they cut out the middle eight and the editing was horrendous. Hopefully they will keep it on the set and it will improve.
