How To... upload videos to You Tube in STEREO

Mono can be great on vinyl - but on You Tube it sucks!
you're missing half the information.

Upload it in STEREO!
it's easy, you just gotta know about them specs.

Just encode and save your videos as flv files before uploading and use these settings:
save vid as:

FLV with 320x240 px,
192 kb/s video (29.97 fps),
128 kb/s audio (mp3) and 44100 Hz.

now you need a tool to convert?
get this:
AnyVideoConverter Free Version
[www.any-video-converter.com]

or use the free Riva FLV encoder
[www.download.com]

uploading the files in FLV format (Flash Video) to You Tube works much faster, as YouTube doesn't need to process them.
but...if you change the settings to higher values - You Tube will resize them and as a result will be back to bleeding MONO![/quote]

The settings mentioned above don't work anymore!
YouTube has gone through lots of updates and changes.
it looks like they do support stereo sound when using the H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 codecs.

The frame rate of the original video should be maintained without re-sampling.
In particular pulldown and other frame rate re-sampling techniques are strongly discouraged.
there's no mentioning of flv codec anymore, so skip that.
